I ended the call immediately and dialled her line after about 10mins later.

Her phone rang several times but she didn’t take the calls.

The worst part of it was when her number became unreachable.

It was then obvious that, she didn’t want my disturbance.

I informed Great-kali and Parcy who used it as a means, to make jest of me;

ME: I know, but she is part of us and need to celebrate with us

GREAT-KALI: I know Sharon pass all of una, that babe dey do kerewawa as I dey talk to una so, make we borne her. If Anini get another thing when he nor won tell us then make he keep am to himself, but as for this celebration I’m enjoying it live and direct

The topic about Sharon was put to an end after Great-kali statement.

We all drank until we have gotten just one bar left in our lives.

Alcohol took over us, and we managed to find ourselves in BBhotel with the help of God.

We got to our room, fell on the bed and dozed off.

THE NEXT DAY

The ringing tune of my phone ‘Osinachi by Humblesmith’ got my attention, as I woke up and found myself in the bathroom with my head on the WC.

I guess I used the WC as my pilow, thinking I was on top the bed.

I picked up the phone immediately, after viewing the screen which showed “SWEET MUM” as the caller;

ME: Hello mama

MUM: My son are you still sleeping?

ME: Yes ma, ægwor

(agwor is how isoko greet, they sometimes use migwor)

MUM: Vrendo omo-mé

(Greetings accepted my son Or stand up my son)

ME: Mama this one you called this early so hope all is well?

MUM: All is well, but you don’t expect me to be sleeping by this time

(I quickly checked my time and discovered its 9:32am)

ME: Oh mama sorry

MUM: No probs, I know you enjoy sleeping alot. Well I called to know what time you will be coming

ME: I will start preparing now, the journey from Lagos to Delta is not more than 4hours so expect me by 3pm

MUM: Okay my son, I’ll cook your favourite

ME: Thank you mama, bye

I quickly hit Great-kali and Parcy who were snoring, like a diesel generator.

They woke up, and in turn we took our bath…

We hurriedly got ourselves ready, and went out to the hotel car park, where the cars were parked.

Parcy and Great-kali went into their Lamborghini, start up the engines, and steamed the car for some minutes before asking me to hopped in.

I joined Parcy on his own, and off we went.

We were about leaving the hotel totally when we met Sharon by the gate;

SHARON: Stop! Stop! You guys wanna leave me just like that?

The cars were parked by the gate and we all came out to meet her

SHARON: I can see money is speaking here

(Looking at the cars)

ME: Shakitibobo you are welcome from your outing, but as you can see we are on our way to my village

SHARON: I know, but we have to celebrate this na

GREAT-KALI: We did that yesterday, Anini called you several times but you did not pick up

SHARON: Oh baby sorry, I saw the calls but I was…….

ME: Don’t worry, we might go for another celebration when we return. You just do me a favour

SHARON: What favour?

ME: Go to our resident, I mean our new home which we will be staying as soon as we return, and do some clean up

SHARON: I’ll do that today, but before you guys leave I got something to show you

(She opened her handbag, brought out a newspaper which came along with a pack of con_dom)

PARCY: Na dat small carton of blomblo you won show us?

SHARON: Shut up! You nor get senior sister like me? Spoilt boy, na the newspaper I be won bring out

ME: What is inside?

SHARON: Almost all the pages are talking about us.

3 RESCUED IN A LOCKED HUMMER JEEP

Two pregnant ladies and a man who happened to be the Manager of the bank that was robbed early this week, was found in a locked Hummer Jeep.

They were found yesterday evening by a patrol team, who said they managed to bring the captives out with the help of some engineers who opened the doors of the car after lot of attempt.

The ladies were rushed down to the hospital for checkup, while the manager has this to say when interviewed:

The gang is made up of a girl around 25yrs of age, a very young guy who seems to be educated and a small boy not up to 10yrs, although he is very tall. I suspect the guy to be the head as the rest take orders from him, they call him Anini. They were so cooperative but look less harmful.

People say they are 12 in number but they are not, they are just 3 with other informant who communicate with them on phone… That is all I know

ME: No problem na. Make Government do their best to get us, because I believe say I go storm aso rock soon

SHARON: You guys just have to take care, while on your way

ME: Thanks, guys let’s go.

We first of all went to our new building, where I collected the venza we bought.

It was all Great-kali and Parcy’s idea anyway. They wanted us to take 3 cars there in convoy…
