I waited for a few after the guys sent to get me had exited the garage before I made my way in.

I ran to EVA immediately

“Baby I’m really sorry”i said while i held Her face in my hands.

She didn’t say anything rather, tears Flowed down her face freely and unaware her lips hit mine softly , I spent time enjoying every bit of it. I bit her lips softly while her tongue lost its way in my mouth, I ran my hand through her head as I took her lower lip in while she s----d away on my upper lip Mehn, I coulda drop my hand to her short skirt if not for my dog that interrupted with his childish whyne.

“what’s all this about ” she asked as I helped her up.

“I dunno too, I mean, ion understand too, I suggest we ask this man standing here” I said pointing to Tony with a very angry face.

Tony wouldn’t speak and the more he just stared angered me more that I tore at him angrily.

“speak up! What the f--k have you done! ”

I chocked him with his collar.

“what have you done! ” I screamed violently at the old man who just hung his face.

“Calm down sweetheart… He’s gone through too much ” Eva calmed me with her hand on my shoulders and Mehn, I melted away.

That seemed to do the trick because immediately I let him down, he began to sob…

“Steve…”he began ” I’ll tell you everything you need to know… Willy, your father and I were never partners Infact, he was like a helper to me because he found me on the streets and took me in.” he swallowed hard ” I started to learn things from him and it was until later that I discovered that he had a son which was you… ”

“he rarely brought you to the workshop qnd when I saw you, I saw the love he had for you. You grew up to learning things faster and it was when you were about growing into a young boy that Willy died….. ” he paused “I ” he continued “I later learnt after his death that he willed over everything to you and becUse you were a kid , I took over everything and decided I was going to hide all of this from you till forever. I knew it’s wrong to do such.. And now I’m paying for it.. Find a place In your heart to forgive me….”

I looked over to Eva and then back to Tony. I hate what I was hearing, I didn’t want to hear at all but it was the truth Infact it brought back strong, sad memories that I didn’t know when Tesrs started falling from my eyes.

“what about Dan?… Who’s the girl? ”

Eva chipped in.

My face lit up at that too… That’s the main issue here now.

“The lady is Kate, and she is my daughter and Dan, he is her boyfriend. ”

“what about the cars? I bombarded him again

“well, Kate proposed a deal of her boyfriend smuggling hard drugs so he carried them by stuffing them inside car doors, and of course it was a good deal but we had an agreement that if the cocaine reduced or didn’t amount to the original kilo…then… ” he threw his head down sobbing like a baby.

“Then what?! “I asked impatiently

“He would have the Workshop”

My world seemed to crash when I heard that, I looked at Tony and the anger in me swelled that I rushed at him and like a thief I delivered hard punches on his face. Quickly, Eva pushed me off him.

“Steve!….what is wrong with you? ” she screamed at me.

I didnt reply, I just kept clenching my fist in anger.

“there goes your inheritance and you’re here punching a old man in the face, why don’t you man up and go face Dan and Kate! Uhn uhn why don’t you chase after and get back what’s yours! ” with that, she broke down in tears again.

Immediately, the anger in me died down and I softened up. Sweat of regret flooded down my face as I was lost in confusion. I sat down to think and Mehn.. I wept.

“what do we do? ” I spoke up eventually

“I understand you have the second half of the will with you and we still have time because he can’t do anything unless he has the complete ”

“but we don’t know where they are headed now” Eva reasoned out...

“I.. .have… An idea “Tony spoke up as he tried to stand up. I helped him up gently to rest his back against a box.

All three of us began to march began to the door with my dog leading the way. I held Eva’s hand and she gave me a reassuring smile. I looked over to Tony who just nodded me success and with the bravest motion,… We walked out….
