. An hour later, Oyin walked out hand-in-hand

as frank wrapped his hand around her

waist. Otunba douglas could not believe his eyes

as he continue feeding his eyes some more.

Mr Otunba:Aaa! Holy cow!”he exclaimed mouth

agape.

Is that not dat Okoro boy I sacked? “He asked

pointing at frank.

Segun:It’s like his d one, he answered.

Otunba Douglas screamed again this time

showing all his tobacco-stained teeth.

Mr otunba:Oh! Y didn’t i come with my gun, “he

lamented then flung open d door of the car nd

jumped out fuming like an angry bull.As he ran

towards them, he stepped on his costly

expensive ‘agbada’ which flowed down his feet

nd fell flat on his belly.

he railed and cursed as he struggled to get

up.this amused a group of passers-by. they

stopped nd began to watch the drama with

interest.

Frank was d first to see him,he got afraid nd

alerted Oyin immediately. she froze at d spot

completely bewildered.frank did not need to be

told dat hell had been let loose, he quickly took

to his heels leaving Oyin at d mercy of his raging

father.

. Oyin dragged in a much needed calming

breath,she was so close to losing her

temper.she could practically feel it slipping

through her fingers, and Yes,the object of her

fury was no other person than her father.

Mr Otunba:Never! I repeat, never would my

only daughter be seen with a man as poor and

wretched as dat thing u call ur boyfriend.

Otunba douglas bellowed as he glared down at

his daughter.

Have u forgotten who u are? you are d daughter

of a Senator, a business tycoon for heaven’s

sake”he said while Oyin signed.

Oyin:Oh! please dad, spare me d information,

it’s impossible to forget who I am since u

constantly remained me everyday.

Mr otunba:Oh no! I see i have not remained u

enough if it has not gone through the thick wax

of ur ears. he returned, boiling with rage.

Oyin:Hmmmmmmm…

Otunba:How can u condescened so low as to unite

yourself with a flithy clerk ,who was once my gate

guide in this house.she couldn’t take it anymore

,oyin jumped to her feet ,finally losing d last lota of

patience she had left.

Oyin:frank is not a filthy clerk ,dad.she yelled.
