(Clement’s Wedding)

I couldn’t believe what was happening, it was as if it happened on the blink of an eye, Elisha was no where to be found, it was she was never there! What was happening? Everyone was waiting for the wedding to start and what even surprised me was her relatives weren’t there! Their seats were empty, I called her number but she wasn’t picking, later on I tried her number and it was switched off, I waited for hours for her to come but she still wasn’t present.

Out of anxiety, I drove to all the people that knew Elisha even the one she introduced me as her parents, As I asked them, they bluntly told me to my face that they didn’t know any Elisha, I began losing my patience and shouted at them to tell me where she was but what they told me, stunned me hard that I almost lost my balance.

They said she paid them to act as her parents cause she told them, she wanted to marry me so once she got married she would then tell me the truth!

I even asked her friends and those who knew her, they said she also did the same with them!

I was in shock, I couldn’t know what to do, I couldn’t think straight, I don’t care if she had disappeared on her own but the money I gave her for the wedding shopping was worth thousands of naira and not to mention my account…………. Jesus!!! Jesus!! No it can’t be…… She couldn’t have…… I ran to my car and drove ? fast to the bank to check my bank account, I drove so fast I did care to think about the rules of the road!

The road safety halted me on the road but I refused to stop, I was only interesting in reaching the Bank, they followed me in the car, catching up to me making me stop by force!

I quickly paid them the money, and drove on to the bank, as I reached my work place, I bursted into the bank and asked one of my colleagues to check my account! I couldn’t stay still, I wanted to know how much was in my account and to make things worst, my bowels were about to burst, I really need to pee.

Clement ➡ Be fast, I haven’t got all day!

Could it be that they were together planning for my downfall or maybe they were lovers? Yes that explains it, So that bastard was using her to milk me dry!

I stood up and hurried to my room and changed into some clothes, and drove straight to the police station! It was already getting dark so I pressed the pedal and drove faster.

I soon arrived at the police station and laid down my complain.

Clement ➡ Evening officers, I’m here to report a criminal activity.

Officer 1 ➡ So what’s the problem?

Clement ➡ my money was stolen by a lady I was supposed to marry. She and my colleague planned this together.

Officer 2 ➡ What’s her name?

Clement ➡ Elisha!

Officer 1 ➡ So she scammed you? Did she steal your ATM and got the bucks or….

Clement ➡ No. I gave her access to my accounts.

Officer 2 ➡ Oga, that’s foolish, why did you do that? No wonder, its your fault.

Clement ➡ Look, I’m not here for your advice, I want these criminals arrested and thrown in jail.

Officer 1➡ Okay, let’s get going!

(Matt P. O. V)

Finally I’ve gotten the loan, and with the money Elisha will be bringing, I’ll be rich! But first I need to get rid of Elisha before I do anything,and its a good I bought this poison, its tasteless so it would be hard to detect or smell, it takes an hour before the effects kick in, the victim won’t feel any pain but will just die instant, Let me quickly put this inside the drink!

(As soon as Matt puts the poison inside the drink, Elisha comes knocking at his door, He quickly hides the container of the poison and goes to open the door.)

Elisha ➡ Hi darling (bastard)

Elisha ➡ Shut up idiot! (Kicks Matt) Tiga!
