There were many students walking briskly to their dormitories but luckily for me, I spotted Ali together with his friend Bernard chatting happily to their dorm and I knew I had a chance because he was in a happy mood…

I had planned an apology the previous night which I would render to him that scorching afternoon after class.

I had to stop him from moving further from me so I started running towards him…

“Ali, Ali.. Can I please have a word with you, I had no other choice than to shout.

He turned saying, “Please let me be, I’ve had enough of you already,Ali retorted.

“Ben, please can you excuse us for a minute, I beseeched when I finally caught up with them.
“That’s fine by me, love birds but please play it cool because all eyes are on you, Ben adviced before leaving us.
“Okay, what is it, can’t you leave me in peace, Ali asked.
I breathed deeply and looked into his eyes.

“I beg of you to forgive me, believe me I never meant to hurt you. My Ex wants me back and I’ve tried driving him away but to no avail.

“This time, he wants me back at all cost. Believe me when I say I’ve tried to ignore him but the pressure is just too much and am confused. I don’t know what step to take again.

“And you’re telling me all this after I found out that you were lying to me all this while, how could you Bernice. What did I do wrong,Ali asked.

“Am so sorry dear, please find a place in your heart to forgive me.

“I think he has been influencing you with money and since I don’t have enough of that, let’s just quit for you to get your money and let me be.

“Don’t say such a thing please, you have to fight for me if you truly love me.Help me push him away because I no longer have feelings for that Kelvin guy,Bernice asked.

“Okay, this is what you have to do, change your sim card. Spoil your sim card and buy a new one. He can’t get access to you and he may forget you for a while.

“When he approaches you because he will when he looses contact with you,tell him that you are dating and can’t leave your guy for him because you no longer have feelings for him.
“Thanks sweetie, but with these words, I think am forgiven.

“For the moment you are but if you begin to keep such vital secrets from me, I won’t take it easy on you.

“Alright dear, thanks for your forgiveness and your advice. Will do just that.

I hugged him tightly and escorted him to his dormitory after which I went to mine…
I was so excited that I walked past my dorm to Harriet’s and told her about my small chat with Ali, my boyfriend.

She was overwhelmed with what I told her and she adviced me never to hide anything of that sort from Ali since it could jorpadise our relationship easily…
