“And you what are you still doing here.. Get out with your favourite son!”

With tears in mum’s eyes she said

“Ashabi you were my favourite and you still are!”

I quickly stood up and forced her out of my room then banged it

I was crying loudly.. My wails increased due to the image of receiving an unnoticed slap

“Gosh… Ibrahim will pay for this.. I just need my phone back!..is it too much to ask?”

I almost forget i had my pills in my purse.. I quickly took out one and swallowed

“Hope am not too late to take this”

I quickly rush out of bed, took my bath and headed to Nuel’s lodge

One my way i met my childhood friend Desire in his car coming over to our house..he was a good guy and my mum loved his behaviour, he was actually from Rivers State..very talented and hardworking.. I noticed his affection towards me when we were singing in church back in those days.. At a point he confronted me and told me how he loves me and adores every bit of my personality..now he works with an Oil company..rich and still single

“Hi Ash.. Surprise!!” He said turning down the window of his car

I stopped and looked towards the stranger..i noticed it was Desire

“Oh you are back..welcome enjoy our house like it’s yours …rubbish!” I gave him a dirty sigh

“Ash what has come over you?why acting as if i did something to you?”

“Please get out.. Momma’s in”

Desire looked at me for some minutes and told his driver to move on since i already walked out on him

I was just walking and still thinking of my encounter with Desire

“He is really cute and rich now.. I don’t know why my heart kept on beating faster while i was with him…Maybe it was just my freaky imagination” i said to myself

I was almost at the road side..i stopped a cab and it took me to my destination

Getting to the hotel Nuel and I lodged.. I met the receptionist and demanded to see Nuel in room 304..She gave an astonishing glance and said

“No one is named Nuel here”
