God what a wonderful life, money is sure the finer things in life, selling those documents and share contracts deals to Bolaji’s rivals really boosted my account, at first they were surprised I was selling my husbands company but they gladly made the deal and signed the contracts, They got the company and I got the money, easy win.

Two days after that, the news was announced on TV, as they said it was sold due to bankruptcy, I laughed thinking about how Bolaji would react, I knew he would really want to strangle me dead with hid bare hands. But do I care?

I enjoyed my life to the fullest but I did it smartly so as not to attract attention and I lay low cause knowing Bolaji he has already dispatched his spies to look for me and Eve.

Eve on the other hand wasn’t having a good time, she was terrified that we would soon be caught and be killed, She had been urging and begging me for us to leave the country but I wasn’t ready to leave not yet, I wanted to have my fun first especially with Max.

As she kept disturbing me, I got tired of her of her bugging me all the time so I gave her, half of the money I got from selling those documents, By the next day, she and her kids were at the airport, I felt sad about her departure but this was a chance for her to start a new life.

So after their plane took off, I returned home to relax and plan how I was going to enjoy my evening just then I heard a knock on my door, I was alarmed at first thinking it was Bolaji, so I quickly took a hammer and went to check the door, I inhaled some air and opened the door slowly, I was surprised when I saw it was the two detectives that came to my office during Sammy’s death.

How in the world did that know where I lived? Looks like I have to park out of this house!

Oke Good afternoon , Mrs Emma

Emma Afternoon, how can I help you?

David Sorry ma, but we’re here to ask you some questions.

Emma Okay, come in!

They walked in briskly and made their way to sit down, they noticed the hammer in my hands and looked at me with suspicion, I quietly dropped the hammer and smiled.

Emma So what can I do for you gentlemen?

Dave Can you tell us why you’ve stopped coming to work?

Emma I quit, that’s all.

Oke then why are you at your husbands house?

Emma I left him because he was cheating on me!

Dave So where’s the other woman and her kids?

Emma Eve?! She left and I don’t know where she is!

Oke Look madam, we’re here about your husband, you know he lost his company due to bankruptcy?

Emma Yes I do, so?

Oke So how does a bankrupt business still live in luxury? As far as we know he doesn’t have any other business, and it doesn’t make sense. He recently bought a house in Victoria island and uses it to entertain several women.

Emma so what are you saying?

Oke Is your husband in anyway involved in any other business?

Emma No, I don’t think so..

Dave We’ve been keeping an eye on your husband and we’ve come to believe he’s involved in a shady business deal.

Emma I told you, I don’t know.
