Enebuwa: Good day sir.

Manager: Good day Enebuwa. How are you doing?

Enebuwa: I’m fine sir, please i want you to grant me permission to have a leave from work today.

Manager: Leave? Why?

Enebuwa: sir, i have something to do today at the police station and it is very important.

Manager: Well, since you rarely ask for leave. I would grant you my permission . Just sign here, you can call me if you need my help.

Enebuwa: Thank you sir (He signs and leaves the office, he crosses the road and stands opposite the Beach’s front gate, he picks up his phone and dials Energy’s number) Hello Energy, where you dey, it’s 10:30 already and you know police stations are always busy with different schedules, Abeg come fast.

Energy: I don dey come already, chillax. (He waits for 5 minutes, looks up and sees Energy coming, Energy dress’ combination and style is awful and funny, he is wearing a short and long-sleeve shirt tucked in the short. And a monkey-coat is covering the long-sleeve shirt . On his foot is an `i-swear-to-God’ shoe and a Tie knotted roughly is on his shirt’s collar region. Enebuwa is wearing a short sleeve shirt with a baggy trouser which is quite okay but the problem is that his two shoes had already started loosing on the sole. They shake hands and start moving towards the Police station’s road). Enebuwa shey we go enter Transport ni.

Enebuwa: Yeye! Who dash Monkey banana, we go trek reach there oh.

Mr. Eze’s House, Maritime Avenue, Surulere.

Dr. Evbagharu knocks on the gate and El-malik runs towards the gate.
El-malik: Who be that?

Dr. Evbagharu: It’s me Dr. Evbagharu, tell your boss Dr. Evbagharu and Dr. Emma are looking for him ( El-malik goes to inform Mr. Eze of Dr. Evbagharu and Dr. Emma’s arrival and he instructs him to open the gate, meanwhile Ebuka is in Dr. Evbagharu’s car which is parked some distance from the House, they are led to the living room and they have their seats).

Mr. Eze: Ha! Dr. Evbagharu and Dr. Emma what do i owe this impromptu visit? You are welcome to my humble abode.

Dr. Emma: Thank you sir, Nice place you’ve got here.

Mr. Eze: Thanks, so what do i offer you?

Dr. Evbagharu:I think water would be fine?

Mr. Eze: Okay, Ekaete please bring three bottles of water and glasses (Almost immediately she brings the items and leaves).

Dr. Emma: Without wasting your time, i would like to tell you that what happened yesterday was real,it wasn’t an hallucination or something.

Mr. Eze: What do you mean by what happened yesterday?

Dr. Evbagharu: (Takes a glass of water and drinks) The supposed ghost that haunted your house yesterday was no ghost,it was your son, Ebuka. Ebuka is alife.

Mr. Eze: (Drops the glass on his hand on the floor and it shatters to pieces) Ebuka alife? How? You’re getting me confused.

Dr. Emma: So you don’t know what transpired on Emilia’s death penalty day?

Mr. Eze: Is Emilia not dead?

Dr. Emma: She is not dead (They narrated how they took care of Ebuka and how they treated him, they also told him that the Ebuka he saw in the mortuary was not dead,that they connived with a mortuary attendant to be taking him with them every day and whenever they know that the Ezes are coming they would bring him back to the mortuary. Mr. Eze was surprised and thanked them whole-heartedly,they later met Ebuka in the car and all of them, Mr. Eze, El-malik and Ekaete apologized for their misbehaviour the previous day, Mr. Eze also promised to reward the doctors handsomely, financially. They agreed to also visit Barr. Ebere in the hospital).

D.P.O : Do you mean this person on this picture attempted to murder Ebuka Eze?

Enebuwa: Yes sir, I saw him that day he slided a pistol into his pocket and entered, i was so scared that’s why i didn’t stop him from entering, he didn’t even waste time at all and he almost ran out after coming out of the gate, then i saw this other one i just showed you his picture, he also had a gun in his pocket, i could see the metallic head protruding out but i also didn’t stop him, i’m not sure he is the murderer because he didn’t spend up to 5 minutes and he also went our as fast as he could.

Energy: Sir, this guys were known as Area boys in my community, they engaged in armed-robbery and Assassination. The suspect’s name is Edward, why the other one is Edwin. They are known as The Expendable Twin.

D.P.O: Hmm! Okay do you know their surname because they’re lot of people with those names.

Energy: I don’t know oh, Everybody know him as Edward Expendable, so maybe the other one is Edwin Expendable,i no even sure if they get surname. (Gradually entering pidgin English, all of them burst into laughter . They later write what they knew as statements, sent the pictures to the D.P.O’s phone and the D.P.O thanks them for their information and they leave).
