That same day,the police station was filled with rowdiness,because some people thought Emilia was innocent in her husband’s murder but the fingerprint analysis proved them wrong. Emilia’s mouth became sour when she remembered what she heard before being informed by the warden that someone was looking for her. She started thinking of her fate,she tried to cry but her eye was as dry as dry alum,the tears weren’t forth coming. The only thing was that her eyes were as red as someone that smoked weed. Her heart was sobbing,her brain became bleak,she was no longer aware of her surroundings. The warden came again to inform her that she had another visitor.

Warden: Hey! Person dey find you.

Emilia: Can’t this people leave me alone,i just had a visitor,yet another one is here. (sighed).

Warden: Na you sabi,i don tell you (He said ,dashing out of the cell room).

Emilia: Let me just go and see them,but if it’s those media people en,the kind of insults i would rain on them,they won’t believe. (She tiredly walked to the visitor’s room.)

Mrs.Ekun: Jesus! Emilia,Mogbe oh (Shouting as she saw her daughter,who was now a shadow of her old self).

Emilia: Mummy! Ella! (She ran like a Gazelle to embrace her mother,who she haven’t met for the past two months and her sister,Emmanuella who was in Nigeria).

Emmanuella: D--n! This can’t be you sis,please someone should tell me i’m dreaming. (She screamed and started weeping for her sister,who also joined,their mother wasn’t left out,as they cried their soprano voices out like a trio-choir in an opera).

Emilia: This is where my fate brought me oh (crying more).

Warden: Make una no dey cry na (Mrs. Ekun and Emmanuella disguised like people who usually came to pray for inmates that was why they were allowed by the dumb policemen who didn’t recognize them. It was only the warden that was aware but his hands had already been refreshed by Emmanuella).

Mrs.Ekun: (Ignoring the warden) We heard the result of the finger-print analysis is out,we watched it on T.V and it showed you were the murderer. (crying).

Emilia: Mummy,believe me. I didn’t kill Ebuka,i didn’t kill Ebuka,i didn’t.

Emmanuella: I believe you,Big sis. But my fear is that this is a very big evidence against us,if this case is taken to court.

Mrs.Ekun: Yes,Emilia please if you mistakenly did it,please talk to me now,so that we can beg Barr.Ebere,she might pity you.

Emilia: So Mummy,you are now saying i’m the murder,i’m the murderer right?(crying).

Mrs.Ekun: My daughter don’t cry,i’m just linking it with the news,i didn’t mean it that way (patting Emilia).

Emmanuella: Mummy,even with the last drop of my blood ,i would continue to say that Emilia is not the murderer of Ebuka. I believe her and i would try my best to defend her,though i’m not a lawyer.

Warden: Time up. 5 minutes don reach.

Emmanuella: Just give me 2 minutes please Emilia we brought some things for you,please have faith,the God we serve won’t put us to shame. (Hands a bag over to Emilia).

Emilia: Thank you Ella and Mummy,i really appreciate. (Hugs them).
