Veronica’s POV

I couldn’t lift the fire extinguisher so I remembered my guitar,yes I will use my guitar..
I walked back to the door where I dropped my guitar, picked it up and pushed the door slowly..

Adam’s POV

i entered the hallway that led to the restroom and saw a fire extinguisher on the floor, i picked it up and tiptoed behind to the door..
i could hear voices in the room,immediately the door opened as the guy ran out from behind i smashed the fire extinguisher on his head immediately sending him to the floor..

i dropped the extinguisher and ran inside..

Adams: veronica are you alright?

veronica:am..am fine(as she arranged her hair in the sink)

Adams: did he rape you?

Veronica:no he didn’t, have you seen Chioma?

Adams:so..so why is your stuff on the floor (pointing towards her bra)..

Chioma: I don’t really know but while I was in the restroom i heard someone locked the door,I tried to open but I couldn’t, while I was shouting and banging then two guys opened the door and entered, they told me I made their friend got arrested today because I refused to give him my underwear,so they now threatened to take mine off or they will rape me..

I suddenly lost my voice from screaming Adam’s name, I stopped banging the gate,I fell on the ground as I gaze up in the sky..

the rain poured heavily on me but don’t care,I couldn’t cry anymore, the only thing moving was my lips whispering Adam’s name.

Chioma is that you?(I heard my mother’s voice)
