It was soon enough Sunday , the week had run very fast , and through it all , he had not heard a single word from his new found lover. He had expected her to contact him one way or the other to inform him of their next rendezvous point . She had not shown up for the mid week services or for the choir rehearsals as she usually did . Somehow , Tonye felt she was angry at him for something he had done , or had not done right the last time they had met. He was afraid to meet her at fellowship that sunday morning, wondering what her reaction would be upon seeing him. He had showered early as usual and got dressed . Before he had left for fellowship, Mustapha stopped him at the door and handed him a pack of condoms .

” I have told Sylvia that you like her and want her , she will be ready for you in her room after service . Make sure you use this . No say I no warn you o ” ” I dont know about this Mustapha” he replied ” Wetin dey do you” Mustapha bursted out angrily taking Tonye by surprise ” You should have told me not to bother instead of wasting my time since na” Tonye thought it was more prudent to backtrack than argue further. He had been enjoying the attention and acceptance he was getting from his roommates of late and he did not want to jeopardize it with an act of irrationality . He quickly grabbed the condoms , stuffed them in his pockets and murmured thanks before taking off for church . He was a bit early to church that sunday , as it took him a few minutes to get a bus to take him down to his destination.

The decoration team were already very busy, but he did not join them. The head of the team was surprised and asked why he did not join as was his usual practice , but he lied that he had a slight headache .

Gradually the choir stand started to fill up , and he could see that Sylvia had chosen a seat closer to his traditional perch . Apart from the fact that she sat a bit closer to him than she usually did , she betrayed no other signs that she had heard anything untoward about him. She did her routine pre service rehearsals along with the others pretty well and was quite focused on her manual when the service started. He was arranging the other members in their seats when he heard a familiar voice behind him .

” Come and help me carry some instruments from the store before service starts ” It was the same voice that had been screaming and moaning for him to pound her p---y harder only the previous week . ” Okay sister Jane ” he answered, and following behind her , went into the store . It was a large room , mostly dark where all the fellowships that used that hall kept their instruments . Those of his fellowship were located far back inside. He followed her and admired from behind the short tight skirt and body fitting blouse she wore , complemented with stilletos a few inches higher than those she usually wore . The store was desserted at this time as service was almost beginning and he knew all the equipment had already been removed and setup. What special instrument she wanted now was beyond him
