He woke up the next morning being a monday pretty late . He could see that the sun was fully up in the sky. He was so tired from the romp of the previous night he could hardly get himself to stand up . He reached out for his phone but could not find it on the foam where he left it the previous night . He groggily turned and sat up , noticing for the first time that his room was full , and he seemed to be the centre of attention . Henry was the first person to speak. ” Pastor , good morning o . Hope you slept well ?” Tonye was surprised by the unusual show of attention and replied quite warily in the affirmative .

” Yes , thank you” ” So hope you enjoyed yourself yesterday?” Mustapha inquired The look of shock registered on his face was palpable for all of them to see . As he struggled to find words to answer the question , the room broke into a riotous laughter . He was still startled when Henry got up from his bed and walked towards Tonye , holding Tonyes phone and reading out a message he must have received during the night . thanks honey for yesterday. I really enjoyed myself and from the way you f----d me like a bull I know you enjoyed yourself too. I cant believe its your first time . I want us to make this more often . See you later in the week . Will give you the location . He read it loud enough for the entire room to hear . Tonye meanwhile had his face in his palms thoroughly ashamed of himself . His silence was an obvious admission of guilt and he knew they had him already .

Henry handed him the phone and to Tonyes utter surprise, patted him on the back .
” You are now a man ” Henry told him ” no be all those church you dey carry for head ” The other roommates murmured their approval at his sudden change in fortunes . All of a sudden , Tonye just did not care anymore to feel ashamed , yes he had done the unholy act, but here he was with people who were now like him . The best he could do was to enjoy the situation . Moreover , this was the first time any of them had shown him any form of acceptance in a long while , and he was enjoying it . He suddenly felt the need to belong , to blend in , this felt really good . Henry continued ” Tell us how e go na, give us details” ” There is hardly anything to tell ” he replied timidly ” It was a mistake” ” Mistake” Henry asked ” it can not be a mistake o , you f----d the girl and you enjoyed it . wait o , who is she self?” ” My vice president ” Tonye replied ” Oh my ” Mustapha and the rest of the room mates exclaimed ” na big fish you catch so o ”.
