His small fail which no one had really noticed weighed heavily on him as the fellowship rounded off to a close. He was a perfectionist when it came to his music and he did not condone any mistake from any of his members, and now , he was the one at fault . ” why on earth did I have to look into her skirt when she mistakenly opened it ?” he thought to himself ” and I was stupid enough to assume that she winked at me” The other members of the choir noticed his sour mood and avoided him through the rest of the service and after they closed everyone dispersed. He was making his way out of the auditorium when Sister Jane walked up to him. There was no sign of humor on her face and she seemed stern .

” Tonye , why were you distracted during your last notes?” She asked as she cornered him ” Ma? , I dont understand ” he replied a bit stupidly ” Do not give me that silly face Tonye , you did a terrible job and I am very mad at you , make sure you see me this evening as I told you, we have a lot to discuss ” She stormed away in a haze of fury while he stared dejectedly after her . ” so she noticed the evil I did , I am sure she is going to report me to pastor now ” He thought sadly. He imagined the shame it would bring on him and the stellar legacy of his brother who had served the house without spot or blemish. He was already very ashamed of himself at that moment as he made his way to the hostel to rest before he went to see her .
