The wedding plans went faster than one could imagine.

Shilla ignored the threat she received from whoever sent it and focused on her future with Dr Aaron.

Michael realised he was losing the battle gradually. He really knew there was nothing he could do much to stop Dr Shilla and Dr Aaron’s marriage.

A few days to the engagement, Michael realized he was losing the battle completely and had to do something about it before it was too late.

He was in no position to lose Aaron to Shilla.

Aaron kept promising him that Shilla wouldn’t be a barrier between them but he was not convinced.

Michael knew there was no way his gay partner Dr Aaron would give him much time and attention if he tied the knot with Shilla the lady in question.

Lucky for Michael, he had photos of himself and Aaron doing nasty things.

A new energy and happiness surged through his veins.

Michael knew it wasn’t right for him to disclosed to people about his relationship with Aaron but he realised he had to do it to save his relationship.

He had threatened to end Shilla’s life if she sees the photos and still continued with the marriage.

On one working day, Dr Shilla was in the office with doctor Arnold busy discussing how the wedding reception would go and laughing to the top of their voices one would think its not even a hospital they were in.
Shilla’s phone beeped several times, but she tried to ignore the phone and focus on what they were discussing but the tone persisted.

Shilla reluctantly picked the phone from the desk and checked her messages.

” over who is this disturbing our peace with message all the time” Shilla said as she opened.
” Check you never know its from Mr right, I mean Dr Aaron, maybe he’s missing you” Dr Arnold joked while standing as he stretched his neck to peep.

There were a lot of photos with a message attached to it.

She didn’t give much attention to the message because of the conversation with doctor Arnold.

Shilla clicked on all the photos to download.

She placed the phone back on the desk and focused on the conversation.

Something caught doctor Arnold’s eye on the Shilla’s face, and with something he had spotted though not sure.

” Shilla your face is changing, i hope you are fine?” Dr Arnold asked.

He smiled and tried to make fun of Shilla.

Dr Arnold didn’t see the photos very well but what caught his eyes looked like a sex chat.

” Shilla my senior, you are not easy nowadays, when did you start having sex chat with Dr Aaron.” Dr Arnold asked as he joked.

Shilla was puzzled at the question.

What they were discussing was far from the question that Dr Arnold asked.

Seeing the puzzle look on Shilla’s face, doctor Arnold laughed as usual.

” Shilla check the messages you just received and prove me wrong, and am just joking don’t take me serious ” Dr Arnold said.

Dr Shilla picked her phone and checked what her colleague was talking about.

The first two photos that hit Shilla’s eyes shocked her.

Shilla lost her balance and fell in her chair.

Doctor Arnold alarmed .

He clicked on an emergency button on Shilla’s desk and within two minutes, two nurses entered the office.

They rushed Shilla to the outpatient department and administered first aid on her till Shilla became conscious.

Doctor Arnold stared at her looking very disturbed.

Dr Arnold went back to Shilla’s office to find out what was sent to her.

He picked the phone and to his surprise, there were photos of Shilla’s husband to be and another young man in a nasty act.

Immediately you set your eyes on the photo, nobody will tell you doctor Aaron was gay.

Doctor Arnold checked all the photos one by one.

He scrolled up and read the message attached to the photos.

………”I have tried all I could to let you know Aaron and I are in a serious relationship but you are too block headed to see.

We promised each other not to let any woman to come between us but he is trying to break the promise because according to him, his parents are disturbing him to marry and not because he himself wants to marry.

He has assured me several times not to worry because you won’t be a barrier between us but I don’t think so.

He is mine and I am his.

Woman Just stay away from him if you love your life.

You know the truth now.

You have no excuse. If you ignore this warning, I will have no excuse to chop your throat with a new sharp knife. I mean my words”……….

Doctor Arnold shivered after reading the message.

He realised Shilla was in a serious mess and trouble.
Dr Arnold also went through all the messages that number had sent to Shilla.

He was surprised to see so many threats from that particular number.

Doctor Anderson wondered why Shilla had kept all those messages a secret to him like never before yet they used to share discussions.

He just didn’t understand why she did that.

He stared critically at the photos to see who the other guy was.

Dr Aaron’s face was very clear and obvious in the photos but the other guy’s face wasn’t shown in all the photos.

He went back to the out patient department to see Shilla on her feet.

Shilla looked very sad.

Doctor Anderson took her back to her office.

” Dr Shilla calm down and let’s have a mature talk as your friend not as workmates” Dr Arnold said as Shilla took her seat.

” Shilla did you know about Dr Aaron being gay?” Dr Arnold asked directly.

” Dr Arnold right now i think i cant say anything, of you don’t mind let’s talk later” Shilla answered.

” Don’t worry because it could be that, someone is trying to destroy the image of Dr Aaron through Photoshop.” Dr Arnold advised.

Shilla took her phone and watched the photos well again.
They looked real, it wasn’t Photoshop like Dr Arnold thought.

She felt devastated. Doctor Arnold had wanted to ask her why she had kept all those threats from him.

He ignored the idea because he didn’t want her to know he had gone through her messages.

He thought Shilla would disclosed everything to him but she didn’t
Shilla got her phone and called Dr Aaron to meet her during lunch that day because there was an emergency.

” Shilla is there any problem?” Dr Aaron asked as he was suspicious.

” please there is a serious problem not just a problem,
In fact this is a matter of life and death, meet me if you wants to know what was going on” Shilla said on a serious note.

” Its fine Shilla I will be there ” Dr Aaron agreed to meet Shilla because he saw an urgency in Shilla’s voice.

Shilla after talking to Dr Aaron.
” Doctor Arnold I need you to escort me to meet Aaron during lunch.” Shilla pleaded to Arnold.

” its fine I will go with you, but where will we start from? Because am imagining right now like we are going to hunt a lion with stones” Dr Arnold agreed to go with her but wondering to himself
It was lunch time and Shilla was seen sitting at a table in a restaurant with doctor Aaron and doctor Arnold.

Shilla pretended nothing had happened.

Aaron ordered for food and drinks for them to enjoy, but he was scared who Arnold was.

Shilla kept staring at Dr Aaron while they were eating.
Being suspicious about Shilla’s stare,

” what is the problem , you don’t seem fine” Dr Aaron asked.

Shilla kept staring at him.
Shilla removed her phone from her bag, and went through her gallery.

She highlighted one of the photos and showed it to Aaron.
Aaron’s mood changed.

He grabbed the phone from her and stared at it well.
He was so angry that one could see it on his face.

To the surprise of Shilla and doctor Arnold,

Dr Aaron smashed the phone on the ground and hit his palm hard on the table.

” For how long have you been tracking me Huh? How can you be this stupid? Why must you doubt me.

You know what, I am calling off this stupid marriage….Go f--k yoself!!

I thought you were sensible but you just displayed your ignorance.

After all it’s my parent’s that needs a wife not me.

Or marry that quiet fool sitted next to you.

You can all go to hell for all I don’t care” Aaron hissed, was too bitter and angrily walked out of the restaurant.

Shilla looked on in shock, She couldn’t imagine, how cruel the world was to her.

She wondered where Aaron’s calmness and gentle nature went to.

Shilla glanced at her colleague Arnold and the look that met her was just tears.

Dr Arnold had not said anything, he ate food and was thinking of what advice to give the two, but only saw things happen.

” Shilla you need to change your mentality” the only words he said as tears went down to his cheeks.

Doctor Arnold felt touched, never had he cried in public places, he couldn’t handle the embarrassment, worse of all Aaron called him a ‘ quiet fool’
He go up, went and picked the pieces of the scattered phone from the tiled floor and dropped them on the table as Shilla watched with unstoppable tears.

People around were minding their business but kept staring at Shilla which made her feel very uncomfortable.

Dr Arnold got hold of his senior Shilla, as both tears rolled down.

” Its fine Shilla, don’t worry, God will pay all this innocent tears, someday sometime” Dr Arnold said as he wiped his tears.
He picked Shilla’s hand and took her out of the restaurant to the office.

” Please Dr Arnold, Sorry for the shame that I caused to you, never had i seen your tears before, but please I beg let this be a secret to only two of us, I personally can’t hold this shame” Shilla pleaded with her colleague not to tell anyone what happened.

” Shilla its fine, I saw you know as my sister, I never thought we would Even one time cry together, but Shilla listen to my words of everyday, at least take my words serious today…Sister I need you to change your mindset, that mentality about love and profession.” Dr Arnold advised.

Shilla’s dropped her tears again.

Something which made doctor Arnold the think that his advise was disturbing her ears.

Arnold left Shilla in her office to be on her own if she won’t listen to advise.

Shilla left the office early that day because she was a social media addict and therefore couldn’t live without a phone.
Shilla ordered Moses her driver to take her to Banana world to get a phone.

Moses became suspicious about the whole thing.
He knew the phone his boss was using was in a good condition.

It was the latest Samsung Galaxy S series.

” Madam why do you need a new phone? The other phone was better ” Moses the driver asked.

” Does government restrict people from having more than one phone ” Shilla replied.
” Its OK madam ” Moses replied.
Shilla showed him the broken pieces of her phone.

Shilla always disclosed to her driver what she does.
She narrated everything to the driver.

Moses had wanted to advised her to change her mentality about love and profession but he knew where the conversation would end and therefore kept his advice to himself.

He was not surprised at what was happening to his boss.
Shilla bought the same phone and color.

A few minutes after she had inserted her sim card,
Dorah’s call came through.

“hey girl, You think switching off your phone will make me fail to trace you? Hell Noooo so what happened to you today? I have tried your line several times but it was switched off” Dorah said with concern in her voice.
“nothing happened to me. It’s my phone that broke down. I’m busy at the moment. I will call you when I get to the house” she assured and before Dorah could say another word, she ended the call.

Shilla knew it was rude to hang up on someone who called no matter how rude the person was to you on the phone
but she was not in a mood to talk much.

She checked her messages and saw one from Dorah.
” I have gotten a better place for your wedding reception, I hope to meet you or call me back and we talk about it, and I have called SLYVIA OWORI to get for you the world’s best wedding gown from Italy.”
Shilla switched off her phone.
She thought of what to tell her friends and parent’s of both the two if they called……….. ……………………………..
