“Destiny I’m sorry, I left you and your Dad, it wasn’t my fault, just like your name, destiny has made my journey in this world to an end, I want you to know that i love you and believe me your Mom really loves you.” Hello bro it’s morning, I heard David said that, I think that was what waked me up from my slumbering, was i dreaming? I stood up as David was confused, what happened he said. . Gosh, thank God it was a dream, where is Mom I said, common bro, your mom is still in the theater room, any good news yet, no David replied. I took my clothes as I move to the receptionist , I was still at the receptionist when the thought of what happened between me and the nurse came to me again, what the f--k, I sucks as I kept thinking negatively , but this time I just want to see the doctor.. Where is the doctor? I ask. This time she wasn’t the one answering, a girl of her 22years replied, good morning, I’m Lola, I will be in charge of the attendance today, that was when i got to realize that the nurse has gone home. Alright where is the Doctor, I replied.. He’s yet to be available, you mean doctor yet to arrive? I said.. What the the f--k.

It was very early that morning, I heard a business call from one of my client, it was going to be a great one, but the sad news was my wife condition, she’s not getting better, I was not happy with her condition, I dail a call this time, it was the doctor. Hello sir! A voice said from the phone, Hello, I’m Mr Tyson! Replied okay sir, I call to know the condition of my wife, how’s she? I asked, well I believed she will be fine just that we need to talk, the doctor replied. okay will be on my way.

It was about raining that morning, I took my clothes and my car key as leave to the hospital , it got me up to 45mins due to some little accident, they were little hold up, the car couldn’t go as fast as they were expected . I got to the hospital around 7:26am. I went to the receptionist, hello can i see the doctor, I asked….. A girl of her 22years light in complexion answered, he’s yet to come sir, kindly wait for him . Okay, I dailed Destiny’s number .. The number you’re trying to call is switched off.. I looked at the phone, I was a little pissed off trying to get a sit when a friend of him came , you’re here sir he said. Yeah how are you boy, have been trying to reach you guys when did you came ? He replied yesterday sir. Okay that’s great, where is Destiny I asked him, in his room sir he replied… We went together to his room.

After i got home, I went to freshen up before getting myself to eat, it was now 07:45am that morning, today was my off day, I knew I needed to have fun, the off is always one in two days so it’s kind of stressful, but I still love what I do, I’m always proud to be a nurse, I have passion to become one right from my childhood time, have once told mom and dad of which they promised even and earth, I knew they will always do anything to support me but death has taken them all, what I got is my Anty. Mrs Desmond she took me up here after the incident of my parents, she has been like a Mom to me, I call her Mom, yeah she has never let me feel left alone for once, she sent me to school right from the time of the death till now that I could fulfill my destiny to become a nurse, I’m a nurse and I love what i do.

I was still at home this time one could see me prostrate on the bed just thinking about everything, sometimes when i think about that sorrowful night, I cried. I really couldn’t believe that my own parents was killed in my one present. I was still meditating when his picture came to me, who’s he to talk about my parents, yes I don’t have any but why will talk to me about it, does he even know how hurt it’s to lose a parent, I doubt if he does. I smiled as i remember the moment I slapped him and the question got me laughed out, I have forgotten that a minute ago I was crying, but why am i laughing, I don’t even know.
