Christ Haven Church was crowded that Sunday morning as it’s resident pastor is giving a sermon on the altar.

Jidenna is there with his family and his three friends, Victor, Pius and Favour He sat on the back row listening to the pastor’s teaching on Prayers while Victor and Pius were talking about girls, Favour ignores them when they try to get her into the topic.

Granny and her family (excluding Mazi Ebube) sat in two rows at the front seat.

Soludo was laughing and when his mother look sternly at him, he keeps quiet and adjusted himself on the sit.

Granny was very attentive to Pastor William Igwe’s teaching as he spoke about how Jesus and his disciples performed miracles through prayer like the two fishes and five loaves of bread and the turning of water into wine, granny was listening and when God had help Elijah through prayers with the prophets of Baal.

She found peace as her thought of Amanda cleared out of her mind.

However, her motherly instinct is kicking as she feels Amanda is in trouble but as a old woman, she feels it was because she left without informing her, but right now she feels the need to pray for her grand daughter.

Saying a silent prayer as she bows her head a little, she feels peace one more time, taking the mindset that everything is alright, she didn’t let anything or anyone distract her.

Some few hours later, service is over and many people came out of the church premises in pairs, Somadina and Lotenna walks out hand in hand, Jidenna came out with Favour leaving Victor and Pius behind as they wait at the gate.

Somadina sees her brother at the gate and run to him, hugging him.“Aunty Favour, good afternoon.” She says smiling at Favour who smiles back and reply to her greeting.“Where’s mom and dad?” Jidenna asks her.“Still inside, talking with the assistant pastor.” She replies him.“Are you guys about to go?” She said.“We’re waiting for our two foolish friends.” Favour said.“Brother Victor and Pius.” She said as she burst into laughter.“If not for your brother here, would have left them and head my way.

They always joke with everything.” She complains.

The drive home wasn’t stressful for Mama and the family as she and the children drove in Mazi Kingsley’s tricycle while the others took a cab home.*

Jidenna followed by Favour and Victor and Pius are trekking as they gist laughing at a man slipped and fell on his face in church earlier on, Favour uses are iPod and plays some music.“So guy, I don knack that girl I be tell una about.” Victor said to the group.

Jidenna looks at him and laughs immediately. “That Nkechi of a girl?” He asks laughing.“Ehn enh na, she no be person?” Victor said quietly.“So you expect us to believe that that girl open leg for you?” Pius chips in as him and Jidenna laughs the more.“Guy you’re mad, I swear.” Victor said almost getting angry at him.“Look, Victor you’re my friend but I beg, I no fit believe say she allow you to f--k her. If now any other girl we go believe but no be Nkechi.” Jidenna laughs the more as he said that.“So if e kon be Favour nko?” He said smirking but felt afull force on his face as he holds his chick and realize that Favour had slapped him across the face.

He looks at her and saw she is angry, obviously she heard what he said.“Even if you are the last guy on earth, it can never happen.” She says angrily as she walks passed the trio.

Pius bursts into laughter almost immediately.“Victor you shouldn’t have just said that.” Jidenna said as he runs up to her.“Am sorry for what he said back there.” He apologies as he got to her.“So that’s what you guys say behind me. Jidenna you are the only reasonable one, I don’t know why you choose to follow those two nitwits.” She angrily yell out.“Am sorry na, whenever he brings you up in our discussion, I will always rebuke him.” He said in a bit to calm her down.“So this isn’t even the first time and you did not even bother to tell me.” She looks at him as he felt bad.“You know what? When you ditch those your so called friends. You know where to find me.” She said as she walks away angrily.
