Arriving at her home, Amanda is welcomed by Adams, her gateman whom she left the house for. “Welcome ma,” Adams said smiling “How was your trip, did you find your village?.” “Yea I did,” she replied with a smile. “Open the car and bring the bags inside.” She added asshe handed him her car key.

***She is sitted on the couch watching a movie on the plasma screen. Her phone keeps ringing and when she checks the caller ID number, it’s Maureen, she taps on the red button disconnecting her calls.

She feels that Maureen was hiding something and she is determined to find out what it is.

She checked her wall clock and see it is almost six PM and her stomach is rumbling, she is hungry as she hasn’t eaten anything since morning.

She got up from the couch and headed to her kitchen trying to see if she could prepare any meal, seeing no food ingredients decided to make a cup of tea with some slice bread she found in the freezer.

She wonders how mama and the family are doing since she left without informing any one.

She took her phone and dials mama’s number, it rings but mama didn’t pick up, she tries again and it became unreachable.

She remembers Victory, Michael’s sister. She hopes she has her number.

Scrolling through her contacts, she sees her number and sighs, dialing her number, she places the phone on her ear, it rings and Victoria answer the call. “Hello, who am I speaking with?” Victoria’s sobber voice is heard from the background. “Hi Vicky, it’s Amanda.” She replies. “Oh my God, Amanda? Where is my brother?” She sobbed up the more. “What do you mean?” Amanda asks confusingly. “Michael has been missing for the past one week now with his phone switched off, I came to your house but your gateman informed me that you were out of town.” She cries out. “Am sorry Victoria, I wasn’t in town. Am sorry to say this but I’ll be there tomorrow let’s speak face to face, alright?” She says.

“Okay Amanda,” “How are you coping now?.” “I don’t know Amanda, what if something bad happened to him?.”“I’ll be there first thing first okay?.” “Okay.”After Victoria disconnected the call, Amanda became confused.

“Vicky doesn’t know her brother is dead yet Yakubu said she took his dead body, something is wrong. I’ll have to deal with this issue and quick.” Amanda said to herself as she sips her cup of tea.
