Must Read: INTERMISSION (The Love) [completed] Season 2

RECAP

In some aspects of life, we met somebody or some groups of people for a brief period or a stipulated period of time. Though it will be brief, the events that happened within that brief period of time maybe more than what can either be expressed orally or in written form.

But in all circumstance, we d’ derive something from the event of that period; something that could either affect our life positively or negatively and may even change your life for either good or bad.

Sometimes we d’ regret meeting somebody or group of people because of the event that it brings or because of what it has left in our life that cannot be changed, something that we live to regret sometimes.

But our regrets depend on several aspects. We may regret never making a judicious use of the brief period we had with some people or regret never taking chances to turn our life for good which may end up making us wretched financially. When we remember those days, we do tend to curse those days but one thing is for sure; we are not supposed to blame those days but rather blame ourselves for our naivety and ignorance because you control thing that happens around you and not the days.


In some cases, we d’ regret meeting somebody or a group of people because of the impact it has had on us, the negative effect of having met them. Maybe they led us to somewhere or their action led us to do what we shouldn’t have done not meeting with them which may lead to our doom and subsequently bring about financial insufficiencies in our life.

Sometimes, their actions and what you have done through knowing them in that brief period may change your real person and turn you into what you can never imagine. Sometimes, it can lead you to your greatness or inflict pain upon your life.
In this situation, life treated him like a slave or rather more worst than a slave which reshaped his life bringing about life threatening situation

Continued from the last scene
My mood changed immediately i finished reading the message, my mode changed from bad to worst. Everything happened just too fast at the same time. I don’t know what to do, either to cry or weep. All my friends just lost their girlfriends and i got to know that my uncle was Evelyn’s ex boyfriend that scammed her and was also responsible for my own problem. But the question was why? Why would he chose to do that and what would he gain in doing that, moreover, he was financially buoyant and get anything he want no matter the cost. And why will Tracy decided to play the game for him and how or when do they get know each other or is she also sleeping him for money? And Becky, she never looked like she cared about Tracy, and why will she be acting along side with her all of a sudden. Maybe she was responsible for the lacklustre relationship between Frank and Favour. Why are they all acting according her wish and will? I asked my self
They were quite a lot to unravel


EVELYN: what was the problem now **she asked as she discovered my sudden change of mode**

My phone was still on my hand while i stared at it without seeing anything. She took the phone away from me and read the content of the message. She was puzzled for some minutes; her own sudden change of mood attracted the attention of the other people in the room. She handed the phone to them while they passed it to each other as they go through the content
ME: why didn’t you tell me that you saw them, why couldn’t you tell me of what they were discussing, you don’t dim it fit to let me know rather, you chose to keep it to yourself till now **i said angrily**



The vein on my forehead was very visible while i sweat profusely in the well air conditioned room. The anger in me could bring down a mountain. I looked around and discovered that everybody in the room was also sweating. They were all in silent and couldn’t mutter anything. Everybody was clouded in their own thoughts; even Evelyn didn’t know what to say as she remained silent on her own


EVELYN: i.. i am sorry. I didn’t want to tell you because you won’t believe me but rather use it against me. I would have told you but … i don’t know why i don’t know **she said apologetically**


The look on her face showed that she regretted not telling me. I don’t know what to do. The worst of it all was that my name and image have been detrimented, i have had bad reputation no many people’s view for what i never do, what i never tested.


EVELYN: i didn’t know that it will turn out like this. Believe me, i will never watch any harm come to you and do nothing. I promised myself that i will take care of you no matter what.



She seriously poured out her heart while i shrugged. She never cared that my friends were with me while they stared at her in amazement. Though they knew that she love me, they never take it that serious. I looked at her face and saw a different Evelyn; she was too down casted that you may take it that she was the one that the heart break occurred to

ME: it is okay, i understand. It was all my faults, i was too naive, too gullible and blinded by fake love, love that i thought was real. I made the greatest mistake of my life knowing her. Everything about me is just a mess. **i lamented**


EVELYN: stop lamenting Ben. It was not your fault. You were deceived by your uncle, he betrayed you but i don’t know why he will do that. This message actually confirmed what i told you about him but i wondered if he is anyhow related to you because a relative will never sold his/her relative to a total strange without any genuine reason or have you ever done anything bad to him or in any way insulted him? **she asked**

ME: i don’t know, **i sobbed** i have never done him anything bad but he was always on my neck, after me like his sworn enemy, like i killed his father. I have never insulted him and i have no course to do that. I don’t even use to reply his rant despite the fact that it usually over pissed me off


EVELYN: is okay, stop crying **she said as she used her hand to clean the tears that was flowing out of my eyes**
