Saloni Season 2

Kunjan comes back home and Kunjan asks where she’s been. She lied she was coming from the temple. He sees the necklace and asks where she got it from. She lies again that it’s from her father.The lies will soon catch up with you Shubhra.


Saloni’s father gets gets a call from his wife. He starts to sob. He says he misses her. She says she will be back in a few days.
Kaveri hears him talking and pulls the cord out of the socket and the call cuts off. She begs him to help her go to the market to get nappies for the baby.Send your father-in-law to the market to get nappies?


Brajesh, Dheer and Nahar are in the living room. The record executive comes in with the contract for Saloni. He says she called him herself. Babho tries to explain to him that Saloni is pregnant and he should postpone the tour. He says it’s not possible to postpone and as he gets up to leave, Saloni comes in. She takes the contract and signs. The entire household watches. Nahar is upset.



He gets up to go to her but Babho tells him to calm down. She tells him he will have to explain to her in a calm manner so she can listen.Saloni no send again o.



Nahar goes to Saloni. He is calm. He asks what the matter is. She repeats her sermon about always putting others first but now she wants something for herself. Nahar says they’ve always made decisions together but now she takes such a decision without talking to him about it. He stars to cry and says she’s his life and now they have a baby on the way. She says he should understand that the contract is her path to a brand new world.Err.. Nahar, she actually told you she wanted to do it. With style sha.


The family is in the garden getting ready for prayers. They are asking for Saloni. Aditi says she has never been late for prayers. Tara says they should leave her to rest. Nahar wants to go and get her but Babho tells him to let her rest and let Tara lead the prayers. Aunt Kaki starts to plant a seed in Nahar’s heart by saying she has seen many women pregnant but they don’t change like Saloni.
The annoying thing is she is saying it in a polite way like it was just a harmless observation.


Vrinda goes to Saloni in the room . She tells Saloni not to do this to master Nahar. She mentions how sad Nahar has been and how he is a good person who takes care of everyone. Saloni tells her if she cares so much for Nahar, she should go to him. Vrinda is crying and pleading with Saloni not to go against Nahar.I actually expected Saloni to give her a slap. The look she gave spoke volumes.


Kunjan runs into Saloni’s father at the market and offers him a ride home.


Nahar is brooding in the garden when aunt Kaki comes to meet him. She says she doesn’t know why Saloni is behaving like this, that she’s worried about them. Babho comes in and starts to defend Saloni. She tells Nahar that this is the same Saloni who fought others for their family. That if anyone has changed, it's Nahar who is not being patient with Saloni.Aunt Kaki, just give it up already.


Kunjan comes in with Saloni’s father and Kaveri comes to greet them. She now says she has told her father-in-law not to go out in the sun. The father-in-law is shocked at her lie. Kunjan now turns to him and says he is not happy because he keeps giving his daughters gifts and nothing for the sons-in-law, like the necklace he gave Shubhra .
Father-in-law says he never gave any necklace to Shubhra and he loves his sons in law like his own sons.Wahala for Shubhra.
The lies are catching up with her already.


The record exec comes in again and says he brought Saloni’s tour schedule to her. He gives it to Nahar. He says her first show is tomorrow. Nahar starts to protest about how unreasonable the schedule is but Tara stops him and says they should leave the decision to Saloni.Tara doesn’t want to try Saloni at all again o.


Saloni comes downstairs and Babho tells her to tell the exec she can’t do the tour. Saloni ignores her and tells him she is happy to do the show. He says she will be well taken care of and leaves. Nahar throws the schedule on the floor in anger and tells Saloni she is not going anywhere and no one can go against his orders.


Nahar is in their room throwing a fit. Vrinda comes in and says he has to control himself and take care of Saloni in her condition.
Nahars screams at her. He says it is none of her business and she shouldn’t interfere.
He checks himself and starts to apologise to her and as usual she begs him not to apologise. She tells him everything will be okay between him and Saloni. He tells her she is very kind. Saloni is watching from a corner. This back and forth between Nahar and Vrinda is making me dizzy. He yells at her one minute and the next he is apologising.


Shubhra is talking to Kunjan but his mind is far away. He asks her about the necklace and she tells him again that her father gave her.
She starts a tale about her mum liking the necklace so much they got another for her.
He begins to wonder why she is really lying to him but he doesn’t say anything out loud.


Nahar is in the garden getting flowers for Saloni. He goes into the house with the flowers and Babho asks what the flowers are for. He says, for Saloni . Babho begins to look uncomfortable and as he tries to make his way upstairs, Aditi accosts him and tells him Saloni is not home. She’s gone for her first show. Tara brings a note Saloni left for him.
Nahar is crying again and saying even after all he said to her, Saloni still left. Babho tells him to calm down. Brajesh says maybe they cared for her too much so they should let her do her thing. Nahar is upset. Tara tries to talk to him but he says he wants to be left alone.Na wah for tears o. Even babies don’t cry like this.



Babho and Tara are in a room talking. Tara says she doesn’t understand why Saloni went for the show. Babho says she’s also upset but trying not to show it. Tara tells Babho to go and talk to Nahar so he can make peace with Saloni.



Babho goes to meet Nahar. She says she knows he is thinking about when Tara lost her baby and blaming himself. She says he has to take it easy on Saloni and support her.
Vrinda comes to tell them Saloni’s show will be televised.


The family is watching Saloni perform on TV. After the show a reporter asks her about her family. Saloni says she wishes they were there with her and she is sad they are not.
Babho says it’s true; they should have been there for her. They all thought about what’s best for Saloni but didn’t consider what she wants. Aunt Kaki says they should think of Nahar too. He hasn’t eaten all day.
Babho agrees and tells Nahar to come and eat. He says he’s not hungry.


Its another day and Saloni is in the living room with a reporter. The family members come in and Babho says they’ve been worried about her. That she should come and eat something. Saloni gets upset and tells the reporter to leave. Saloni turns to Babho in anger and asks if she is satisfied that she has disrupted her work. She throws some papers in the air and walks off. Nahar is about to follow her but Babho grips his arm and begs him not to make matters worse.
Brajesh tells him to be a man but talk to Saloni nicely and find out what the issue is.No longer Team Saloni. What nonsense. Na you first get belle?



Nahar goes to sit with her on the bed where she is making cut-outs of her picture from the newspaper. He tells her she is in so many newspapers and magazines lately. She asks f it bothers him. He says it bothers him a lot.
She says he and his family are trying to block her happiness and they should stop pretending cause their true feelings are coming out.I'm actually agreeing with aunt Kaki now o. do people chage this much with pregnancy. First trimester for that matter.
Shubhra goes to see her father in law again.
She brings him food and serves it. He takes a bite and says the food reminds him of Padma’s cooking. Shubhra says he still misses Padma and he should get back with her. He tells her it’s not quite simple.
Shubhra, just stop!



Kaveri gets a call from Dheer. She is pleasantly surprised. She asks why he has called. He tells her about Saloni’s behaviour and how she is causing commotion in the house. Kaveri says she will come and visit in the evening.So Dheer is your partner in gossip?
