Ted Lasso Blu-ray Release Date Set for Apple TV+ Sports Drama

Apple TV+’s hit sports comedy-drama Ted Lasso is coming to Blu-ray for the first time ever, ComicBook reports. The all-new Blu-ray set includes all three seasons and 34 episodes of the Jason Sudeikis-led series, available for pre-order on Amazon. It is scheduled for release on July 30, 2024.

Per Amazon’s product description, Ted Lasso follows the titular American college football coach, who, “despite having no experience coaching soccer, [is] unexpectedly recruited to manage a fictional English Premier League soccer team called AFC Richmond. The team’s owner, Rebecca Welton, secretly hopes that Ted’s inexperience will lead to the team’s downfall, especially since she gained ownership of the team in a divorce from her unfaithful ex-husband, Rupert.”

The Blu-ray set’s special features, including the cover, have yet to be revealed.

Will there be a fourth season of Ted Lasso?

As of now, there is still no news about a potential fourth season for Ted Lasso despite its success on the streamer. And with the new Ted Lasso Blu-ray set, which is labeled as a “complete series,” the possibility of Season 4 ever happening is slowly dimming. The third season concluded last year.

Sudeikis also served as one of the television program’s creators alongside Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt, and Joe Kelly.
