It Ends With Us Movie Sets Release Date, First Look Images Revealed

Lily Bloom, Ryle Kincaid, and Atlas Corrigan come to life in the first look images for It Ends With Us. The upcoming romantic drama, based on Colleen Hoover’s 2016 best-selling romance novel of the same name, is slated to hit cinemas on August 9.

Sony Pictures has shared the first look images for the upcoming feature, showing Blake Lively at the forefront of the new emotional movie. In addition to Lively as Lily Bloom, It Ends With Us also stars Justin Baldoni as the Ryle Kincaid and Brandon Sklenar as Lily’s old flame, Atlas Corrigan.

The film also stars Jenny Slate, Hasan Minhaj, and Amy Morton. Baldoni, whom most fans may remember as Rafael Solano in Jane the Virgin, serves as the forthcoming film’s director.

What is It Ends With Us about?

Determined to leave her traumatic childhood behind, Lily Bloom starts a new life in Boston to chase her dream of opening her own floral shop. A chance encounter with Ryle Kincaid will then spark a familiar feeling, setting up a new, exciting life for Lily — a new business and new-found friends, along with a charming neurosurgeon boyfriend. As her relationship with Ryle grows deeper, she’ll begin to discover an unexpected side of Ryle that will remind her of why she started a new life in the first place.

Per the official synopsis, It Ends With Us “tells the compelling story of Lily Bloom, a woman who overcomes a traumatic childhood to embark on a new life in Boston and chase a lifelong dream of opening her own business. A chance meeting with charming neurosurgeon Ryle Kincaid sparks an intense connection, but as the two fall deeply in love, Lily begins to see sides of Ryle that remind her of her parents’ relationship.
