Natasha wasn’t herself since she came back from Julie place, she sat on the bed in her room lost in thoughts, how can she be pregnant, she can’t be even if she wants to, she just can’t be right now, Julie told her not to worry maybe she might be wrong but both have agree to visit the hospital the next day, Julie was taking her to her family doctor, she couldn’t go to meet Phillip anymore because she was scare of the outcome of the test they will go for tomorrow, she wanted to be sure, Phillip has called her several time but she hasn’t pick up but has sent him a text message for them to meet another day, she know Phillip was hurt but he just have to hold on more.

The next day morning, Natasha has woken up very early to get dress, she barely slept last night, the thought of her getting pregnant for her twin brother just can’t seen to leave her thoughts, she drove down to Julie to pick her up, they have earlier decided to go with Natasha’s car, Julie was waiting for Natasha at her front gate, after Julie entered the car Natasha drove off following the direction of Julie, Natasha focus was on the road but her mind wasn’t and Julie observes this.

JULIE
Hey girl, relax do you want to have an heart attack.

Natasha turn to look at Julie and took her attention back on the road.

JULIE
Calm down, I know you are not ready to marry now but I believe Phillip will be happy to hear you are pregnant, that’s if you are, so chill out.

Natasha was silent, how she wish Julie could understand her fear, if only Phillip was responsible it could be a wonderful thing but in this case it was her brother, but she just pray she isn’t. They finally got to the hospital and park the car, the hospital was a big one, beautiful and it’s building looks expensive, who ever owns this hospital must be wealthy, they got out of the car and start heading to an entrance, Natasha was just tagging along Julie admiring the whole building, they both got to the reception and was welcome by a nurse. Natasha was marvel of what she saw, the place was like hospital made in heaven now she knows why only the wealth comes here.

NURSE
Welcome miss Julie

JULIE
How are you

NURSE
Fine ma’am, doctor Mark is already waiting for you.

JULIE
Thanks, Natasha lets go

They left the reception heading to doctor Mark office, Julie had earlier booked an appointment with her doctor yesterday so he was expecting them, they got to a door that Doctor Mark was boldly written on it, Julie gently knock on the door, a voice from inside told them to come in and they did, Doctor Mark got up to welcome them, Julie and doctor Mark hugged while Natasha only offer him her hand, doctor Mark was in his 30sand handsomeness was lucky on his side, they all sat down after the pleasantries.

DOC. MARK
You said a friend of yours want to do a pregnancy test.

JULIE
Yes, she is sitting right next to me.

DOC.MARK
(Smile)
How are you miss…..

NATASHA
Miss Natasha Richardson

DOC.MARK
(Shocked)
Do you mean the Richardson

NATASHA
Yes doc.

Doctor Mark thought for some time, wondering what she was doing in his office when the Richardson has the best family doctors.

DOC.MARK
Well, nice meeting with you, let’s get down to the questions, do you feel dizzy, tired or sleepy often

NATASHA
Sometimes

DOC.MARK
No pains

Natasha’s heart kept beating first as the questions kept coming in.

DOC.MARK
All the symptoms are pointing to the direction of pregnancy but we will still conduct the test to be sure.

Natasha nodded in agreement, the doctor dial a number on the telephone.

DOC.MARK
Please come to my office
He hung up, not less then few minutes a nurse came into his office and he told the nurse to take Natasha to the laboratory to conduct a pregnancy test which Natasha kindly followed her, the test was quickly done and in no time the result was out, Natasha was already in doctor Mark office chatting with Julie and doctor Mark, in as much that she was not interested in the conversation she had to join them so as to get her mind away from her fears, but her fears arouse again when the nurse who has earlier took her to do the test came back with the result.

NURSE
Doc, the result is out.

DOC.MARK
Can I have it.

The nurse handed the result to the doctor and left, Julie looked at Natasha and gave her an encouraging smile.

DOC.MARK
What do we have here
He began to open the envelop in which the result was put, after that he read the content of the paper he was holding, Natasha heart was beating in hundred degree now as she prays to God in her heart, a warm smile came to doctor Mark face.

DOC.MARK
Congrats, you are a month and few days pregnant.

The world came crashing on Natasha, Julie look at Natasha with a smile but her smile vanished when she saw the tear in Natasha’s eyes.

JULIE
Natasha, what is it, you should be happy, Phillip will be happy to hear this.

NATASHA
I don’t want the baby

JULIE
(Confused)
What are you saying, children are blessing.

NATASHA
You won’t understand, I don’t want this baby, I can’t have it.

Natasha was already raising her voice.

JULIE
Okey, fine what do you want to do, because the only way out is an abortion.

Natasha thought for some time, in as much as she doesn’t want to kill her unborn child it is also a taboo to have her brother’s child, she didn’t ever wish to have an abortion in her life but this is the risk she has to take.

NATASHA
Yes, I want an abortion.

JULIE
Are you sure

NATASHA
Yes, please

JULIE
Doc, can you help us with this.

DOC.MARK
There will be a problem, since you don’t want to keep the child, you will just need to fill in some forms of approval, that simply mean you was the one that asked for it because of future problems.

NATASHA
Ok

DOC.MARK
I know you might not want this child but I advise you reconsider, I am a doctor and I have seen and met a lot of couple and even single mothers that are looking for just one child, it is a blessing to have one.

NATASHA
I know, but this, i can’t keep it.

DOC.MARK
Ok then, you will be here two days from now, that will be on Saturday morning by 10am, I will call the nurse to direct you to where you will fill the form.

JULIE
ok doc thank you so much.

Doctor Mark called the same nurse again and she directed them to the place where Natasha filled her form but not after saying their goodbyes to doctor mark, after filling the form they went to the car, Natasha entered the car also with Julie, Natasha was about to start the car when she was stopped by Julie

JULIE
Baby girl, why do you want to do this, is there something you are not saying, I mean you and Phillip are good together and he is your fiance for God sake, what is he going to say if he heard you did this.

NATASHA
He won’t say anything

JULIE
Why do you think so, it his child.

NATASHA
That is the problem, is not his.

Julie was shocked to the bone, she has known Natasha for some time now and have come to found out that Natasha was a decent type or was she mistaken.

JULIE
you must be joking, who is responsible

NATASHA
(In tear)
That is the problem, I shouldn’t have this child, I shouldn’t.

Julie hugged her to console her.

JULIE
It’s okey, I understand, but you are going to tell me everything.

Natasha never wanted to say anything but since Julie was into it half way already it wouldn’t be bad to tell her everything, Julie was a good keeper of secret and she has come to find out within a short period they have known unlike lizzy, so she trust Julie and knows she will get a good advice from her, she just hope she isn’t making a mistake.
