Mr and mrs Williams finally left that evening as they have said, and the home was left for Nathaniel and Natasha with the maids and securities, Nathaniel has locked himself in his room ever since his parents left, he was so trying to avoid Natasha, he still can’t believe his father will order him to stay at home for a week without going to school, well he know he won’t have problem about lectures because it can be taken care of and that isn’t his worries, his worries now is how he was going to deal with his sister that is home alone with him, he was brought back from his thought by the knock on the door.

NATHANIEL
Yea

NATASHA
Nath it’s me please open up we need to talk.

NATHANIEL
(Confused)
Talk about what.

NATASHA
Nath stop it, just open up

NATHANIEL
Am kind of busy now we can talk later bye

NATASHA
Nath, open up
But Nathaniel didn’t reply, he sits on the bed facing the door while the banging on the door continues but this didn’t move him, he feels like opening the door but he was avoiding her by all means, the banging later stop which means Natasha has gone, he swoosh out air from his nostrils and lay on the bed lost in thought.

Natasha angrily shut the door of her room, she was fury now, how can Nathaniel refuse to see her, she toss round her room, she was in shock, and this got her to wonder what was really happening, where has she gone wrong that Nathaniel is avoiding her this way, she didn’t know when she broke down in tear, sitting on the floor she couldn’t hold back her tear as it flow freely on her cheek.

Nathaniel wake up with a slided headache, he looks at the time it was 9:34pm, he might has doze off while thinking about Natasha, he gets up and head to the kitchen because he needs a glass of water, he opens the fridge taking out a bottle of water, he was about pouring the water into a glass cup he has collected earlier when Natasha walks in, Natasha had saw him earlier when she came out of her room and decided to use the opportunity to talk to him, Natasha rest her back on the kitchen door, immediately Nathaniel sees her.

NATHANIEL
Oh God

NATASHA
Was at your room earlier
Nathaniel pour the water on the glass

NATHANIEL
Yea was busy

NATASHA
Spear me all that you and I know that’s a lie, you were just avoiding me and it is so obvious.
Nathaniel finish drinking the water, so he places the bottle of water back in the fridge and also the glass cup.

NATHANIEL
I don’t have time for this.

Meaning to walk out but was block by Natasha who close the kitchen door.

NATASHA
(Angry)
No you have all the time to explain to me what is going on, and I need an explanation right now.

NATHANIEL
there is nothing to explain

NATASHA
Then why the attitude, why because to me this is so crazy.

NATHANIEL
(Annoy)
Let me pass Natasha, I can’t do this right now, so stop this

NATASHA
Stop, I am not stopping until you tell me what it is.

NATHANIEL
(Shouting)
I can’t, okey, do you think if it something I can work on I won’t have done it, but its not and you can’t handle it even if I tell you.

NATASHA
(Calmly)
What ever it is Nath, let work it out.

NATHANIEL
There is nothing to work out

NATASHA
There is a lot to work out, Nath, am your only sister.

NATHANIEL
And that is why am doing this

NATASHA
(Almost in tear)
But you are hurting me.

NATHANIEL
(Sigh)
I know and it hurt me too, but please, I can’t be around you, can’t you understand

NATASHA
I can’t and that is the problem, how can I understand when I don’t know what is going on.

NATHANIEL
(exhale heavily)

Natasha move a little closer to him

NATASHA
(Crying)
Nath, do you know how long I have waited to be around you, twelve years, I came back home for you, I left everything for you, not because you are just my brother, but because I love you.

NATHANIEL
Stop it Natasha

NATASHA
Because I miss you, because I wanted to hold you again, I missed the fighting, the games, the love, I wanted my brother so badly, I have never for once forgotten about you, because you are the only one I call brother.

Nathaniel was feeling that urge again but was trying to hold it in but this time it wouldn’t stop and he could feel his heartbeat racing.

NATHANIEL
Natasha please stop it.

NATASHA
You use to call me your jewel, your love, your own

NATHANIEL
Oh God

NATASHA
What happened, what
Nathaniel couldn’t take it anymore

NATASHA
(Shouted)
What happened to us

NATHANIEL
(Scream)

Natasha was shocked

NATHANIEL

NATASHA
(Weak)

NATHANIEL
(Painfully)

NATASHA
(Hurt)

NATHANIEL

Trying to move to her but she moves backward.

NATASHA
Now I know why you refuse to talk to me for eleven years, it because you hate me, you hate me, nath you hate me.

NATHANIEL
Please

Before he could get to her she quickly open the door and runs out in tear, Nathaniel was so hurt to see her that way, he so wanted to run to after her to tell her he is sorry and beg her but his leg just refuse to move, he crush down on the kitchen floor.

NATHANIEL
(In tear)
I love you, Natasha I love you too much, don’t you get that I love you too much.
