we continued parading and displaying our marching skills, mhen it was fantastic marching as though it was arm force day.

it soon came to our turn to display our narching skills, and our commanding provost was superb, he just knew the tactice
“left right, left right all face face forward keep the line straight and march in a paradind order” he instructed us before the long awaiting command came

“by the sector quick march”
oboy see as we march come dey display style na lols, soon we came near the platform na here we drop our best skill


“eyes right” came the provost’s voice and we saluted and at the same time looking right uniformly, finally we passed the plat form and returned back to our previous stand, we were then lectured or should i called it last orientation by the brigade commander.


“ladies and gentlemen….” he began his speech “…..today marks the end of ur camp training to be gallant men and women, and i belief that you have all acquired the basic needed training……..” and far far far…..fowl cause my mind been no dey there, all my mind don reach house, finally we were given awards (best platoons and well behaved platoons) my platoon won both (we wey be say nai thief food from kitchen during fight) well na camp sha, if na you, yoi go do am pass us lols (winks).

finally we sang the national anthem and finally dismissed, our postage slip were given to us and to my surprise i was posted to rivers state my home state, ph to be precised, i was joyful and we all reconciled before leaving camp….

I arrived home and my mom shouted when she saw me, the first question she asked me was if tgey didn’t give us food in camp. i went into the bathroom to freshen up and by the the time i came inro the sitting room, my mom has already prepared a sumptious meal of ewedu soup with fufu, lots of stewed meat and two bottles of pepsi


‘wow, home sweet home” i said as i sat down to devour the meal…no time to check time…delay os dangerous.
