It was evening already, hillary and chidi came to offload the bags. I was already closing my stepmum’s shop when i felt someone touch my waist and i turned out of shock. Behold it was chidi.

About chidi, he is a 300 level student, tall and dark, taller than me shaa. BACK TO PRESENT

chidi: (smiled) shantel, hw was today’s sell

me: it was okay, so how was school?

Chidi: fine, uhmm shantel can i have your number?

He wanted to collect my phone and dail his but i stopped him and told him to call the number, because my phone is that type that is tired of life, you need to off and on it before it will dial a number even the screen is scattered. In order to avoid embarassment. I hope u understand guys.

I just left him in order to avoid unwanted gossips from some prying eyes already looking at us
it was over a week and i havent called him. Chidi was always touching my waist wheneve they arrive at the market.

The day i was just searching my contacts and saw his muber, i decided to give him a call and he answered, we talked for sometime and i hung up. i started thinking of him every now and then, i saw him in my dreams most times.
Whenever he comes to the market he is always staring at me, and we will just talk for a few minutes before hillary will call him to thier car and they are off
i couldnt just fanthom what was wrong with me each day, was i falling for this guy?
