Few hours later, an empty peajot car arrived..they started making preparation to take my body away, I took a deep breath and decide to give yet another try maybe anyone will hear nor feel me..I went to meet oluzo, I kicked him with my left leg but he didn’t respond, it was as if nothing touched him.

I tried to hold him from his neck but all were to no avail then I decided to give up and just accept my fate..

I was there when they pull the physical part of me into the car and Nino with the church elders went with them.. tpumpy and oluzo both started walking home, I took a good look around and I discovered that staying outside the church environment won’t do me no good, so I decided to follow them… on their way going they start discussing..

Oluzo : but this life na battle field sha!(he said regretfully)

Tpumpy : my brother na true you talk jare (he affirmed)


Oluzo : but I no still believe sha! So na like this person de die? (he said in a confused mood)

Tpumpy : e de do me like say harno never die, cus I de feel him presence everywhere, maybe na because say we too de close..

I want to intervene into their conversation, but I see no reason for doing that cus I know they won’t hear me, so I keep mute and follow them while they talk..

Oluzo : me no de come fear death again since harno don die, if them tell me say I go die now, I no go fear again (he boasted)

Tpumpy : me self.. but na Bros Nino own pain me pass.. that innocent Bros whey no know wetin de go on.. him father don die, him mama don die, now na him only brother don follow.. Chai! this life en (he said with tears rolling down from his eyes to his cheek )

I felt really bad for myself, my brother and my two best friends, I started missing them as if it’s almost a year since we’ve talked..they keep walking till they get to our place, both oluzo and tpumpy entered my room, oluzo sat on my bed relaxing his back to the wall, tpumpy on the other hand removed my picture on the wall and he starred at it for a while, tears started dripping from his eyes..oluzo also joined him in the quest of crying as if it was a challenge..

Twenty minutes later, Nino returned from the mortuary, his eyes were as red as fire, his voice were weak an faint, he entered my room and he sat on my bed. immediately oluzo and tpumpy started consoling him .. then he said to them in a low tune with an overwhelming and unimaginable pain in his heart

Nino : (crying) this world is a wicked zone , only the wicked flourishes . Promise was an innocent boy who never offend anyone, he was an angel, this evil world was not meant for a simple and kind hearted person like him, let him go back to heaven that’s were he belongs with angels like him. [B] “goodbye promise watch over me, please tell mum and dad I did my best, but the wicked ones took you away from me.. (he paused for a while)


I felt lots of pains in me, I cried bitterly and I hit my head against the wall, but I felt no pain.. the pain I felt everytime I see Nino and my friends crying hurts me alot…

I can’t stand this anymore..i have to leave this place, now I realize that I don’t belong here anymore…
