Chido screamed “BBBBBeeeennnn”!!!

That was the third time Chido died.

Ben slumped to the floor and stopped moving. Tonie and black mamba started returning shots but Chido wasn’t to be held back anymore, after all this was Ben we are talking about.

He made the biggest regretful mistake to blindly move towards Ben in the mist of the shootings. This move made him an easy target for Ibinabo and his boys but the twins, Tonie and black mamba cut them all down before they could shoot him.

Just as Chido caught up with Ben he started dragging Ben’s immobile body back to their group and location oblivious that he was now very much of interest to someone pointing his weapon at him.

He didn’t know till he heard the hysterical scared voice of Cynthia scream his name and as he looked up. He saw Ibinabo’s weapon leveled at him and then the gun exploded with a retort. BBBOOOOMMM!

This was it, as he felt the heat of the bullet sear his side. The feeling brought tears to his eyes but only a single selfish thought crossed his mind “Grace, I am going die here”.

Several gun retorts resounded from Tonie’s side and Ibinabo disappeared back the way he had appeared.

Chido was thrown on the floor from the impact with Cynthia in his arm. His arm was numb and staining fast with blood.
