As the smoke cleared they were surprised to see them at full retreat up the hilly road.
Ibinabo cursed and swore then backed orders telling his boys to press on, follow them, eliminate them all.

Ibinabo and his group pressed on concentrating bullet fire on Chido’s group as they retreated but they were so far behind because of their the slow heavy weapons.

As Chido’s group came upon a clearing Tonie mentioned “lets detore here and use the dense vegetaion. Knowing Ibinabo he would have men stationed here too” so they cut a path in the forest and used it, trying to locate where it terminated onto the mainroad.

Ibinabo’s group kept the pressure on.
Shooting now sporadically into the brushes, few people were cut down but Chido/Tonie/Ben pressed on with their remaung firces till they arrived at a path on the right of them with a deep waterfall across it.

Arriving here they had no option but to turn left away away from the waterfall.

A few minutes later they came onto a part of the main road. From the noise of activity they knew there was already a greeting party waiting for them from Ibinabo.

It was now a do or die situation, they had to get out of there now or die trying.

They observed that the group waiting for them appeared quite formidable. They knew there was no way out of this one.

Tonie divided the group into five and placed them under himself, Ben, Chido, blackmamba and Sammysmart. He asked them to scatter themselves and to concentrate fire at the centre when the time comes. They all prepared and moved out, Cynthia following Chido close by.

The shooting started with heavy gunfire from Ben’s side. Ben was by now so distraught that he was screaming and shooting, tears streaming down his face, he was close to blacksoul so he felt the loss more than any of them.

They managed to break through the centre after intensive fighting and all make their way with quick and brisk pace towards the express where their getaway vehicles where waiting.

Ibinabo by now had appeared as if from nowhere and he pressed his advantage, picking Tobie’s boys off one by one but they didn’t give up. They continued onwards with the hope that their escape route was certain.
As they came within sight of their vehicles an unthinkable thing happened. Ibinabo had pushed them to the far side just within reach of escape and then all of a sudden all their cars caught fire as if by magic. Then intense firepower was launched by Ibinabo’s group with a gleeful faced Ibinabo leading the onslaught. They were now obviously cut off on bothsides, their burning vehicles behind them and Ibinabo infront them
