While Tonie was still shouting orders and Boneface just concluded his epic statement, the guys outside were not left out because a loud explosion was heard which rocked the foundation of the building they were in. .

“Man ur positions”, chido heard Tonie scream as an uneasy silence filled the whole area like a silence before a storm..

Chido turned to his left as someone touched him ever so lightly on his shoulder and Tonie crouched beside him and whispered to him, Ben and Boneface “once the shooting starts do as I earlier instructed as soon as u hear me say blast em to hell”.

He continued “we will give u enof fire cover to get thru, over to the other side. No matter how heavy the counter shooting is, don’t turn back keep pressing forward.

Mamba’s life may depend on how fast u get to him. As soon as u secure him say on the fones that u want to head back so we know u got mamba. If u encounter heavy fire and can’t come out say we will manage. I have instructed group B to make a roundabout so they will overlap on urside and back u. Once u guys meet up with group B make a fast break back to my location”. [B]

They all agreed and waited for Tonie’s signal.
In seconds serious shooting started from Tonie’s crew and the once calm night erupted with sounds of heavy gun battle.

As the shooting got heavy they heard Tonie’s voice from the outside scream [B] “blast em to hell”.

Boneface was the first to move, he was quick on his feet, followed close by Ben and then Chido. As they stepped out in the open they saw the once dark street was light up like a fire ball with firelights from bullets flying every where.

They all dodged briefly then continued moving in a single file never looking back though Chido attempted a brief sideways glance at Tonie as he saw him crouched in the corner shooting a semi automatic assault weapon expertly as if born to use such weapon.

Cynthia on the other hand was directly behind Chido with an additional 20 of her girls. The rest she had instructed to stay back and aid Tonie’s group but she was left out of loop cos Tonie told her nothing additional neither did he speak with her.

As they slowly made their way up the hilly road they only met stranglers on the way and a few shots were fired bringing them down. In variably nothing eventful till they came onto a heavy concentration of enemy forces around the region that was suspected to be where blackmamba was holed up.
