As they walked Ben called Chido asking “why is Ibinabo?” Chido told him to wait that he didn’t know but would find out”.
Immediately he dropped he asked Cynthia “find out from ur girls where ibinabo is”.

A brief conversation with the girls and cynthia replied “he is supposed to be downstairs. He disappeared downstairs immediately the gate was blown to pieces.


Then he was seen driving an armored Huma at full towards the destroyed gate. If they didn’t stop him then he may have gotten thru”.

Chido cringed cos he didnt like what he was to tell Ben now but he still called Ben and intimated him. Ben was silent after Chido finished talking, he didn’t reply but just dropped the fone.
Chido felt a sinking feeling in his stomach so he called Boneface “eh! How is Ben keeping up”.

Boneface replied in the mist of shooting his luggers “he is like a demented person now. I heard Ibinabo made it thru. No probs, u guys concentrate in making it to us. We will discuss once we see” as he dropped the fone.

“Come lets move out” Chido ordered as he and Cynthia’s group moved out of their hiding place into the waiting eye of a tsunami that the hotel was slowly turning to.


People screaming, gun shots here and there, blasts of automatic weapon sounding here and there.

Immediately they stepped out, they had to dodge some serious gun fire coming from their right.
The military police personnel had dug themselves in on the side it was as if they were expecting an attack cos the type of heavy weapons they too had was surprised to see. From the sound of things no side had the upper hand and Chido knew that the longer they remained there the more the chance that they were done for. The fight would be quickly over if they called for re-enforcement.

Chido quickly took the initiative. He organized Cynthia and her girl that were with him. They went quickly room to room till they came across yet another strongnhold. Peeping in quickly Chido saw the guy that Cynthia had identified as blacksoul crouched inside with some guys, they were all heavily armed.

A furious shootout with them convinced Chido that these guys had no intention of letting up. Peeping in again he saw they were on the telephone now and he got scared they were calling for re-enforcement so he quickly light a dynamite he had taken from one of Cynthia’s girls and threw it in their mist.

A loud bang ended the hassle and when the smoke dispersed blacksoul lay on the floor injured groaning from pain. Chido called Ben’s fone immediately “Ben, u guys should hurry to me fast. We got blacksoul. We need to evacuate him now”
