By the time Chido returned Boneface was already waiting 4 them. Ben came rather late to meet them. Boneface yabbed him mercilessly but playfully about Mz. Amuke.
Ben just replied “dat cu.nt no sabi anything na only to insult people. Stupid 4king biatch”.

Then they set out, drove around for sometime b4 they stopped at a watering hole near GRA. It was obviously a popular joint by the number of people there that day.

They ordered their drinks and waited at a dark corner drinking. The corner they were was so dark that one had to move quite close to the next person to be able to make out his/her features.

Not more than 30 minutes later a group of people detached themselves from a larger body of people and walked over to where Chido, Ben and Boneface sat drinking.

The 5 of em took sits and sat down close to Boneface and started discussing in hush voices with him. Chido and Ben leaned closer to try to make out what was said.

“……….located Essien. We past ur message and he replied that he wanted Ben present at the exchange. He also said his people don’t want to fight but will fight if provoked”.

Just then it dawned on Chido that the person speaking was a lady and that he had heard her voice b4 but he couldn’t place where.

The speaker then asked “when and where would u want the exchange?”
