They left few minutes later, taking a taxi to where Chido’s parents stay in Festac.

On arriving his parent’s house Chido made Ben comfortable then they made their way to his cousin.

Cousin Kola has always been a man of the people. He was the one that helped Chido prepare for his jamb am and was instrumental in Chido’s decision to join his present school.

He was like an elder brother to Chido like his own siblings although they were cousins. He was a wonderful senior and had always had Chido under his wings.

Cousin Kola was at this time a banker with one of these new generation banks. He was home relaxing when Chido walked in with Ben.

“Ah ah Chido, bawoni!!!” Cousin Kola mouthed. Chido relax “bros Kola, ogaoo. I have been in lagos these past days without words from u. It is not fair ooh”.

Cousin Kola replied with a chuckle “ah ah Chido, I heard about the cream bodied beauty with fair dark complexion that has been hanging around u. I even saw the beauty on the day I went visiting ur old man, ur mother pointed her to me.

Cousin Kola continued, “Chido that thing u carry na something be that ooh. How did u meet her?” Chido smiled and replied “its along story”.

Then he introduced Ben to cousin kola.

They hung out with cousin kola that evening.
Partied by pool side in a new hotel around 21 extention.

They spent 2 more weeks in lagos, all the while Chido and Ben kept receiving feedback from contacts, getting information about happening around them. Grace called Chido everyday telling him how she missed him.

Then it was time for Ben to return to Abuja. Ben had been postponing his going back cos he wanted to hang out more with Chido in lagos.
They both stretched their luck till it got to the time when Chido’s parents where to leave country for Canada.

They saw them both to the airpot. Cousin Kola took a day off from work and took them all to MM1 to drop Chido’s parents at departure.
After farewells has been said he then drove Chido and Ben to MM2 were they joined an Arik flight to abuja.

On arriving abuja, they picked an airport taxi which drove them directly to Ben’s family HQ.
