Hermes marched Ares into the great hall, gesturing to him to go in, Ares wasn't scared he trusted his sister and he knew this day would come and he knew how he would handle it, he walked into the great hall, it was so beautiful than the last time he saw it, his father's throne Was up ahead, he heaved a sigh and approached his father.

Zeus stared at his son, not knowing what kind of punishment he should give, his son was stubborn and a bloodthirsty fellow but breeding with a human and keeping it secret, that was strange, it shows he is capable of live despite what everyone Thought of him, he stood up, filled two goblets with Mead and gave his son one.

Ares looked at his father and said is this supposed to be my last drink before you kill me? Zeus smiled and emptied his goblet and refilled it while dropping off the second goblet of the table, no one is dying here today son, Zeus replied, Ares took the goblet and sipped a little, you know why you are here? Zeus asked, Ares nodded in the positive, hope you have taken care of it? Zeus asked again, Ares drank more Mead and replied am working on it, Ares looked his father in the eye and asked how many people know about this? His father replied me, you and Hermes, Ares bursted into an uncontrollable laughter, I should have known, he said admist laughter, he cannot be trusted father let's lock him up, Zeus was shocked, he stared his son straight in the eye, his eye were glowing red, Ares knew what this meant, his father was angry, deeply angry, he got on his knees and bowed his head, then he asked humbly what is my punishment then? His father's anger subsidized and replied I haven't decided yet, Ares stood up with confusion written all over his face.

But father the punishment for breeding with humans is death or getting locked up,his father replied I can't kill you, you are my son,i can let you off though since no one else knows, Ares wanted to point out the fact that Hermes was a threat but he kept shut, thank you father I wont forget this, ares bowed and went for the door, Hermes saw him go with a smile on his face, he needed no soothsayer to tell him Zeus let him off, he smiled mischievously and waved it off knowing he would have to resort to his next plan.
