Sire Aemon took with him two fine soldiers to fight the beast, they were armed to the teeth with weapons, they already know where the beast resides so all they have to do is to go there and cut it down.they mounted their horses and rode hard into the mountains for their kill, it was only a twenty minutes ride and sire Aemon already has a plan.

Thirty minutes later, they were in the mountains looking for the beast, but it was nowhere to be found, they walked deeply into the mountains with each one having his own torch lit, walking straight ahead, sire Aemon heard some movements and he gestured with his hands for them to halt, then the movements became loud and the beast emerge coming face to face with them, the men were shocked at its size, it was enormous and all the rumors were true, sire Aemon had to calm and compose himself because he was responsible for these men's lives and they trust him that's why they came with him.

Fall back! Sire Aemon screamed, the chimera roared and wagged it's reptile like tale forward, the tail hit the ground and the men dodged it, sire Aemon shouted chains, the men brought out the chains and handed it over to sire Aemon, sire Aemon took the chain and handled it at the upper end and tossed the lower end to one of the men, you know what to do he said facing the second man, the second man nodded.

Sire Aemon and the first man ran towards the chimera and threw the chain over it, the chimera roared, the second man sneaked below the chimera and stabbed it in the chest, the chimera roared again, sire Aemon screamed so not let go, they tightened the chain more and more, the chimera was trapped so they thought, the chimera rolled it's tail and the men scattered and dodged the blow, the chimera roared, moved back a little and broke the chain.

The men were surprised, the chimera breathe
fire from its mouth and the men took cover behind a big rock, what are we going to do now sire? The second man asked, sire Aemon just stared into space, the first man said this thing is too strong, I don't think we can defeat it, sire Aemon had to come up with a plan soon enough because these men were losing faith.

Sire Aemon looked at the beast and said we will attack at the same time, you pointing to the first man, you will attack from the left and you, pointing to the second man, you will attack from the right while I will face it squarely, there's no way it can ward off three men at the same time, the men both nodded, the second man said let's go then.

The three men charged and took their positions as instructed by sire Aemon, sire Aemon lifted a torch from the ground and also charged against the beast, the first man stabbed the beast on its left side, the second man too from the right sid, the beast roared and rolled it's tail against them simultaneously making them fall on their back, sire Aemon charged and poured some oil on the beast, the beast faced him roaring, sire Aemon threw the torch on the beast body, setting the beast on fire, the beast screeched loudly, moving sideways in agony, it rolled it's tail towards sire Aemon, sire Aemon dodged it but it swept him off his feet, his feet was bleeding, he crawled his way out of the cave wounded and the rest of his men dead.
