"Mother, mother, mother! Take me with you" I kept saying to my mother as she slowly slips away from my grasp. My mother died the day she gave birth to me. I grew up only seeing her pictures. She was indeed a beauty, no wonder why my father decided not to marry any other woman. I took after my mother, yes, i shared thesame resemblance with her.

My mother was a tall and light in complexion, she was a beauty every man could ever hoped for in a woman.

" who are you? Leave me and let me go " My mother replied. Her reply got to me and cut me into pieces. My heart became heavy and i cried it out.
" mother, you left me here to suffer..... Dad also left me to rust here.,, " i said with all vigor in me. Im sure she heard, she looked back and i saw the guilt written all over her face. " Doctor, she's awake..." The lady declared.

Immediately, i saw chipappii rushed in and wearing the medical gown.

" oh, Funmi... This young lady needs some orientation, and you ( turning to me ) You may just die again, if you do... It may be your last." chipappii declared and it was only then that i knew chipappii is also a doctor.
He slammed the door in anger after he has checked the drip attached to my body.

" my name is Funmi and i have given birth to set of twins four times and i have never seen any of my children once, so you need to gear up and get yourself together, no matter what you are passing through now... It may only get worse if you keep giving those bastards an excuse to kill you. Here they sell body parts to ritualist and also sell babies...." she was still was saying all these when i burst into tears again.

How did i got myself into this mess? Is there even God? If he truly is up there, why have i been neglected to face all these alone?

My problems started officially after i opened the door to that uncle's friend. Immediately he came in he asked of uncle and i told him he is inside. He went straight into my room and saw uncle in the pool of his own blood. I narrated everything to him. He was still there sitted and i wouldn't know if he was thinking of what to do. He sat for about four minutes before he started searching for something inside his bag. I stood by the door waiting to see him wake uncle up.

" you are dead " Was what i heard him say as he advanced towards me holding a sharp knife. I got shocked and stood there shivering as he kept coming nearer. He was about getting to the door when i slammed it on him. I heard him screamed as the door hit him on the head and i took to my heels...... And ever since then, i have been living on the street, from one bridge to the other, begging for alms, working for amala joints. Most times i have been lured by 'garage guys' to corners amd get raped... Well, i shouldn't call it rape mostly, i consented to it maybe to get a space to sleep or for money. I lived like this for five years until i get picked up by chipappii and his cohorts.

Life became a little bit easier after i gave birth to my first baby but just then I started having problems when men that visits que to have sex with me...... Many times i have to sleep with more than five men as they are always waiting to get me la!d.
