''na me o..'' I said, already exhausted after the long marathon race.

''Why you dey run...... na who dey pursue you this kind time of the night'' he asked.

''Ooboy!!!, my eyes don see wetin my brain no fit process, I saw Precious struggling to survive with a knife stocked in her belly'' I said.

''Temy, How manage?.. Where is she?, where did
you leave her?, I hope say she still dey alive?''
Emafidon tried to inquire, as he bombarded me with questions.

''she's dead. She don go'' I said, as I held Emafidons shoulder, in order to comfort him.

''do you know who did it'' Emafidon asked.

''I'm not sure o, it's as if it's Juliet'' I said, looking straight into his eyes.

I looked around and I immediately saw myself in a very strange environment. It was like, I was in a thick forest, surrounded by wild bushes. I saw myself in the middle of a thin narrow path, leading to no where.

''Emafidon, which place be this?. E be like say I don lost o'' I said, looking around my immediate surrounding, as if I was trying to solve a puzzle or something.

''why you dey fear'' Emafidon asked, with a strange smile on his face. ''You no trust me?''

''why you dey talk like that nah'' I said ''you no be my neighbour, we don too tey o''.

Sadly, the truth is, I never for once trusted Emafidon, not even in my ''dreams'' but this time around, even in my dream, I had no choice, but to confined in him.

''Emafidon, which place be this?'' I asked, looking inquisitive.

''Just follow me'' Emafidon said, with authority hovering all over his voice.

I followed him sheepishly as we passed through the thick forest in the dark. The rays of the moon guided our footsteps, as there was no torchlight or lamp. Sounds of rodents, bats and other wild creatures could be heard.

As we walked, there was silence between us, as none of us said a word amongst ourselves.

We eventually got to a fancy building, which looked like a bungalow. The location where it was erected was quiet strange, and this was due to the fact that, I felt it was very rare for such a fancy building to be erected in the middle of no where.

''you will hide in here still you're safe?'' Emafidon said as he opened the door to the bungalow.

''what do you mean by hide?'' I asked, ''I didn't kill anybody o''.

''I know, just follow me'' was his reply.

I followed Emafidon into the house. In the sitting room, there was a candle light on a sauce, placed on a glass table, which reflected lt rays on the entire place. I starred at my surrendering, observing if it was safe for me to pass the night, then suddenly Emafidon looked at me. I was shocked by what I saw. I actually saw the face of a human skeleton instead of Emafidons face. This sent cold shiver running down my spine.

''follow me'' he said.

I stood there, contemplating on what next to do.
I felt like running away, but Emafidon had closed the door behind me with a key.

''I said follow me, I will show you to where you'd rest for today'' Emafidon said. I tried to take another look at his face, to confirm my curiosity but I just couldn't. I followed him helplessly like a lost puppy.

''this is your room'' he said, pointing to a dark small room with a bed in it. ''you'd rest here for today''

I thanked him, whilst I entered into the room. I la!d in the bed and I said the Lords prayer, after which I covered myself with a cover clothe. As I tried to sleep again, I felt a cold hand caressing me. The hand was so cold, I immediately jumped out of the bed like someone who had just been visited by a rat or a cockroach.

''Jesus! Who be that'' I shouted, looking as scared as ever.

''It's me Juliet, why are you scared'' was the reply I got.

''Juliet!!!, you?'' I stammered ''you stabbed Precious''.

''No I didn't'' Juliet said, as she got out of the bed.

''what are you doing in this house... Ooh! My God'' I asked as I drew closer to the door, which was my only escape route.

''I came to be with you... But I'm sorry'' she said, as she began to cry.

''why are you crying... What are you sorry about?'' I asked feeling a little bit of remorse for her. I wanted to calm her down so I drew closer to her.

''you won't understand'' she said as she cried out loudly.

I held her closer to me, her body was so cold, but I didn't mind. She was my girlfriend.

''you can tell me'' I said, trying to get her to talk to me. Before, I could bid her to talk, Emafidon opened the door and in his right now was a long sharp dagger.

''Temy, today your end don reach'' he said, as he drew closer to me.

I looked towards the direction of Juliet and to my greatest surprise, I saw the crying girl smiling.

''I told you I was sorry'' she said, with a smile on her face.

''wait... Abeg na'' I said, trying to beg the two of them.

''your end is near baby'' Juliet said, standing up and heading towards Emafidons direction.

As they both drew closer and closer to me, I immediately got back to reality, waking up with sweat dripping all over me. It was just a dream.
