My friends and I relaxed outside my hostel after a long day at school, waiting patiently for Juliet's rice and stew to get ready in time. We were all very hungry. I could observe Thompson already chewing his finger nails and scratching his head from time to time.

I left my gang and headed straight into my room to check what Juliet was cooking. I went to the kitchen and I observed Juliet already slicing the Tomatoes for the preparation of the stew sauce.

Me: Baby, I hope you the rice is many o. My guys outside can consume a bowl of rice in seconds.... Within a twinkle of an eye.

Juliet: babe... Don't worry just relax. I will cook the sweetest stew you've ever tasted in your life. Trust me

I held Juliet from behind, holding her passionately while she sliced the tomatoes. I kissed her on her cheeks and whispered into her ears ''you're the best thing, I've ever had'', she let out a smile and kissed my lips.

The Rice and stew was served on a huge breakable plate. Juliet really performed justice to the stew as it was filled with chunks of meat and fish which she bought from the market before coming to my place.

Mayson: ooboy! This your babe suppose be caterer o. She sabi cook wella.

Thompson: no be lie... If you no take time, I go thief your babe. She go just dey cook for me steady.

Me: I never get your time.

Myself and Mayson ate the rice and stew with caution, blowing the ''heat'' that was emanating from the rice but Thompson kept eating like all was well.

While we were eating outside, I saw the girl I wished to never in my life see again... Precious. Precious came walking through the gate
carrying a huge bag and beside her was her sister, Mary. I was beyond shocked to see my ex, ''Juliet must nt know about this o'' I thought ''chai! Which kind gobe be this one na''.
