I freshened up to get ready for Marvis ''little gathering''. I hope it goes fantastically well. Time check, it was 4pm already, I hurriedly stopped an aboki bike man who was passing by my hostel. ''aboki aboki.. Abeg stop Abeg stop'' I beckoned on him. He immediately halted his bike ''where I dey go?'' he asked, advertising is huge dark brown window teeth.

''I dey go GT area'' I said, trying to hop into the bike.

''how much be your money?''.
''wahalai.. You go give me fiefandred (500)'' he said
''wait... You mean from where I dey ryt now to GT?.. GT no far na, I fit trek am o. I go give you 50 naira'' I tried to negotiate.
''where be GT'' he asked
''so you be JJC for this town abi?'' I responded, still sitting down on the ''not moving'' bike.
''wetin I mean by JJC.. Wahalai wetin I mean?.. Ehn'' I saw vexation in his face as his dark face went more darker.

''na why you con dey vex?.. You dey f*@k up o'' he pleaded. ''okay, I go direct you go there, but na fifty naira I go pay o... Aboki Mazamaza''
The aboki okada man ignited his motor bike engine and zoomed off immediately like a porch vehicle on a race track. He kept overtaken every cars, bikes and trailers on the way. I began to pray for my safety. ''aboki easy na... You wan kill person?'' I asked with anger boiling in me.
''wahalai.. I no fit die. I no fit'' he repeated his phrase again.

''so because you no fit die, na why you wan con kill me for my mama and papa abi?... Abeg easy o. I'm too young to die o, I never born pikin o, I never marry o, I never meet rihana o'' I pleaded
''make I no vex. Make I no vex'' he said.
About 5 mins later, I got to Marvis hostel. After much directions, begging and pleading.

Marvis hostel was fenced, the compound wasnt all that wide but there were flowers and trees surrounding the interior of the compound. probably that's a good reason why people often come out of their hot room to come chill outside because the shades and how cool the environment was.

Anyways on getting inside the compound, I saw some group of people chilling outside on a long bench and a table, listening to music and drinking alcohol. I passed them, pretending not to notice them. I was too tired to greet anyone of them, so I hurriedly went into Marvis room. Knocking before entering.

''Temy dakolo, Temybaba, Temylistic Temi.... I hailo. I no believe say you go show, I swear'' Marvis said as he shaked my hands. He introduced me to his friends in the room. I greeted them.

''Emma... Pero... Zobolanky, meet my OG Temi, we don tey since 100 level'' he said as he scattered my low cut hair. ''Temy drink dey... Muzz up. You hear, Emma abeg pass me that brandy for your left hand side. Make Temy turn up''.

I turned a few liquor into a red plastic cup, and I sipped it every now and then, hoping to start feeling the exciting effect of alcohol in the body.
While I was drink, we heard a knock on the door. Marvis hurriedly went to check who it was.
''eyy I hailo... Emitse afa na?'' he asked as he opened the door for him to come in. I wasn't familiar with that particular face, I've never seen Emitse in my life. He was this huge dark chubby guy with two marks on his face, he had tattoo at the side of his upper arms.

Emitse: The person wey just enter this room not quiet long, make the person fall out.
Marvis: Emitse everywhere good?.. Follow me reason na.
Emitse left our presence immediately without going any further. I knew the person who he was referring to was me, so I stood up and headed for the door. ''Temy, chill first'' Marvis said as he went to fridge and brought a chilled bottle of brandy. ''Temy, wetin you do... Hope you no find trouble o. Because this hostel too rugged'' he said

''me no just understand. As I dey here so'' I responded.
We both went outside together. My heart beating fast as I tried to figure out what really happened.
