He showed them his security card, he waited for the ten seconds delay it will take for his card to be cleared. He was cleared and allowed to pass.

Driving into the access road, he know the place is covered by several CCTV, motion detectors and laserr grid trip alarm.
Underneath the innocent looking green lawn, are SAMs launching pads, that can engage up to five air targets at once. Another security defense of the area, hidden from the schematics and official maps of the area, is a launch pad for the latest Hellfire missiles, with super sonic engine, equipped with heat sensor, smart targeting and have a range feom ground to air of twenty five thousand feet. Armed black combat clad security guards patrol are notably present. Some areas around have crack shot snipers hidden and ever watchful. Other bits of defense setup are scattered around and Anderson knows each of them and where they are located . It is his job to know.

He got out of the car at the special reserved park for top executive officers and walked down to the George Bush Center for Intelligence,
Langley where the squat HQ building of the CIA is located.

Enduring the necessary delay another line of security checks demands, he bire them with any irritation because he wasn't in a haste to get into his office. True there are still some files on his desk he will wont to wrap up but nothing too serious and beside he didn't receive any call to come rushing to the office to handle an emergency case. Today is shaping up to look like one boring long day. He was cleared at the entrance and git into the building. A wide lobby greeted him with several suited people milling around with documents, files and tablets on the hand or armpit, as if having very busy things to do. Women also on official dressing copied their male counterparts. At every door leading out of the lobby is a guard in black armed with just a side arm. Several gave low nods of greeting as he stepped in.

By the right of the lobby is the reception desk, with Miss Mary Ludlow, dressed in multiple colored flowery dress, she was busy chatting animatedly with another female, on black coat on ash pants. Anderson couldn't tell who she was as her back was to him.
