CAPTAIN JACKSON’S POV

i never did believe that i’ll live to see any one of my family member again.

Wow i couldn’t believe that i’ll see jack in such a place and also the spear head of my rescuers. I ran down and embrace my boy tightly , my boy is indeed a grown up.
“wow jack how are you and how did you do it. How’s mama and amanda?”
i noticed that once i mention the name amanda he stop smiling and frown his face,
“jack is any thing the problem?”
“no dad not really,”
he manage to fake a smile
i knew that all was not well so i pressed him on
“come on jack, am ur dad, you can’t hide away any thing from me , i know that something is wronge with you pls share it with me”
“come on dad nothing is wrong , am super alright, am happy to see you safe”
i knew that all wasn’t well with him, that something was bothering him, i knew from the look on his face, but i have to retreat, i didn’t want to press him further and furthermore here wasn’t safe to discuss.
“come on lets get the hell outer here”
i commanded them as we all started running out of the d--n place for safety. Just then we spotted some squad of tanks advancing toward us. I wanted to run toward it but evelyn with a baritone voice ask me not that we should all fall back. I just obeyed her without question and we ran back and took covers, i guess this girl was up to something, when the tanks were getting into range, she pressed a remote control with her and the whole tanks went up “boom!!!” leaving its pieces and fragments around the environment.

Wow that was great , i can’t recall the last time my troop performed such miracle.
“am sorry about what happened few minutes ago” i turn towords clara
“what was that?”
“the kiss”
“its nothing, i so much enjoy it, honestly jackson, i love you .”
“i love you too but just as i told you earlier, am a married man,please try and understand”
“i understand perfectly well dear”
“am sorry”
“its okay, thats no big deal”
i watch her trying to hide her emotions, trully, i really love her but as i’ve already told her, i am already married and i love my wife dearly.
All this were running through my mind when i spotted a green light afar, yea thats my marine divison coming to my rescue,
“come on every one, rescue is on the way, lets advance”
we started advancing and a series of gun battle ensued between our enemies and us but we were out numbered, we tried all we could to hold unto our ground till my troops arrived
