Debby called me only God knows how many times that day but
she was not able to get through to me…she called with another
number but once I heard her voice, I just cut it off…..i guess she
forgot about me after like too days even though she sent me a
nasty text message telling me I jilted her and dump her..”God
will judge you snakie”……………………….u can imagine who God will
judge between me and this liar.
Over the next one month, my neighbor always deliver message to
me that someone came to check me twice..d description fit her
but I didn’t even bother as it only take a while before I deleted
her number away from my phone.
I was at home this faithful Saturday morning when my
colleaguecalled me that he will want me to escort him to his
uncles naming ceremony later in the afternoon..since I had notyn
important doing, I decided to go with him……I started calculating
how the day will look like and hoping to make some friends (u
know how it is now). I was fully kitted in my white native wear
with nice black shoe to match it up…my friend came over to pick
me up with one of our other two friends and we drove for about
like an hour getting to our destination due to traffic.
The compound was filled up with people as they had already
named the child (That was my prayer as I cant even stand the
child christening process)……..sit were arranged in circles with
tables in the middle…I saw some young ladies sited at a corner
and told them to let us join the table….(lets familiarize)
All the ladies there were so beautiful and elegantly dressed that
argument started between me and my friend as who was the
most beautiful among them all..i pitched my tent beside one and
conversation started between us when I tried to help her open
her drink and the gas let some pour on the table and splashed
over my white attire (see gobe…fine boi don spoil)…..

Babe:Pls am very sorry
Me:Don’t worry…its notyn
Brought out a handkerchief to clean it up for me, I collected it
from her and help myself out…..we talked about the cause of the
splash and how embarrassing it was and when she continued
saying sorry and begging me, I had to joke that she should stop
except if she want me to remove my cloth, take it home, watch it
for me and bring it back to my house or I come to collect it from
her……….We laughed over that.
Me:pls what can I call you
Babe:Am Zainab…………….
“I handed over my call card to her”
Me:So, what do u do?
Zainab:Am a student in the state university…studying B&F,
already in my final year……….
Me:waoh….thas my school and department.
I heard a voice behind us, holding Zainab…”so sorry I abandoned
u, I will soon join u now…oops, they have not brought any food
for you guys? Pls am coming now”……
Waoh…is my eyes deceiving me? This is Debby now……whats
she doing here?didnt she see me or she just decided to ignore
me……na wah ooooo
I tapped my friend beside me and whispered to him who she
was……..(that’s by gone sha, I said to myself….but that means
this new babe is a no go area cos with the way they talk, it
seems they are close pal…..you can never say sha, another
thought came in)
They brought our food after about some few minutes and Debby
joined us after about 30mins with another cloth on……….Definitely
Debby has something to do here…I had to ask my friend that
brought us the relationship between debby and his uncle and he
said he didn’t no too…(na wah oooo).

She saw me this time around and the greeting was a mixed
feeling, I pleaded with her to let us go outside and talk pls……she
declined initially but later accepted
Debby: ehn ehn……was it?
Me:whats what? Is that how they behave? You just disappear
into thin air like that without looking back..(first attack)
Debby:who disappeared? You see ehn…when they call snake,
you are the real snake…..i gave you everytyn in me..my
money,my time, my love,my emotions, feelings and most
especially my whole body and u treated me that way…you see,
me av 4gotten about you ooo but its only God that will judge me
and you if that’s the way they use to behave (eleda mi a da)

Me:You actually gave me all this…am so sorry if I offended you in
one way or the other..pls find a place in your heart to forgive
me……but it was not what you think it was at all
Debby:what was it that it was not….you conned me by collecting
all my money, I gave you all my body all tru the night…what did I
get in return? Your number refused to go the moment we
separated and u were no where to be found in your house..or
didn’t they tell you I visited twice?
Me:Yes they told me but I don’t have your number again and u
never dropped your number too…..But you caused most of this
things
Debby: Me? How………
Me:ohk……the first thing was that, I detest lie in all ramification…

Who is Ade and was my place the first time you will be spending
the night with a guy for the first time as you told me?
Debby:Ade? I don’t know any Ade oooooo…….so, u don’t believe
me?to God, i have never slept in any guys house before not to
talk of being totally Unclad with a guy…..

Me:but who was calling you several time that day asking about
your whereabout
Debby:It was my Dad now….and I had to lie to him that I slept in
Zainab’s house…thank God she cover me up and my dad trusted
her so much……
“in my mind, zainab might be an accomplice and I guess notyn

with this staunch liar again”
Me:But do u no that after we dropped you that day, we didn’t
drove more than 15minute before a car bashed us….serious
accident that injured my friend and I (I opened my leg showing
her a cut on my leg……………It was a cut I got while playing
football on the field some weeks back)…People crowded us and
during argument, I didn’t know who entered our car and stole my
fone where I was charging it…..i missed your number again for
the second time and it took me more than two weeks before I
was able to retrieve my line………….i lost your contact again and
was expecting if you will call me anytym but I never see your
calls again……..

Debby:hey yah…am so sorry, I tort u behaved like other
guys….atleast you have seen all what you are looking for to
satisfaction and u deleted me…abi no b una
Me:You see your thinking? How will I do such? Have I ever seen
anytyn in u? out 100…I only saw 1 of you..what of the remaining
99? How can I even 4get an angel like u…….
Debby:abeg forget that one jare…thas bygone……
Me:Bygone? Hmmmmmmmm……….so, u totally forget abt me
Debby:Do I have any other option when I didn’t hear from you?
Me:But now that you have seen me and it wasn’t what you were
thinking……..
Debby:I don’t know oooooo
Me:I guess time will tell……lemme have your number again pls

Me:How far with your project?
Debby:still there ooooo…am now in chapter four but the man said
I should come with the materials am using when am submitting
Me:I guess we can discuss about that later….i will call u once
