We moved down to the first bank and there was queue
there…..we had no option than to stay on the line…….it took more
than 30mins before it get to my turn….the ATM house was a
secluded one…she couldn’t enter with me but she can see all I
was doing from beside me…I entered then purposely input wrong
pin number three times…. .GBAGAUN…THE MACHINE
SWALLOWED MY CARD… Ahhh…..what happened, the next person
asked……..My card is not coming out, its like the machine has
swallowed my card……The next person suggested to try his own
card to confirm if my card was still in there or not…..He withdrew
money without hitch……..people started pacifying me……”hey
yah….sorry oga, sebi it was a weekend now, you would have go
inside and collect your card”…Bros, u just have to come
tomorrow for your card….


It was a moment of displeasure……………………..
Debby:Sorry baby……..what do we do now
Me:I don’t even no oooo……I don’t even have more than 50naira
we collected from the bikeman again….no way for me to go to
work tomorrow…….You don’t even have any money on u either…


Ohhh God.
Debby:I don’t have any money oooo….all I have is just 300 naira
which wont even take me home sef..
Me:Na wah ooooo…..what will I do now…I don’t even have credit
on my fone to call sef
Debby:what kind of silly machine is this sef…
Me:Baby, pls do u have your ATM here……if you can just take like
1k, lemme buy card and call one of my colleague to help me with
money….


Debby:I don’t even av much in my account..all I have is 7k and I
can only take 6k out of it cos of the 1k minimum balance in my
savings account….
Me:Pls lets take the 6k…..I will buy card, call my friend and
reimburse you totally….
Debby:Your money will be 20k ooooo
Me:No problem dear…I will give u….am sure I will get money
from him
We went back to the Machine..people allowed us to use the
machine cos of what happened earlier….we withdrew 5k out of
the 7k……we bought 500naira card each…..my fone rang
immediately I load the card…it was my fried calling…
Me on call: Guy, I just wan call u now…..u dey my house? Thank
God… I dey come now abeg…just wait for me, I will be with u in d
next 5mins…..
Me:u c how God does things….the person I wanted to call is
already at home…so, lets go and meet him at home…
Debby:Ohk baby….
We climbed bike….she was in d middle while I was at the back…I
started sending sms on my fone telling my guy not to gime me
money no matter how much I beg him….he should also decline of
having ATM card as I was coming with a babe…..thank God for
network as the message delivered instantly and I deleted it from
my fone…..
I met my guy in front of my house and introduced Debby to
him….we entered my room…it was almost 8pm……..i narrated my
ordeal abt where I was coming from to my guy and pleaded for
money from him
My guy: Oga….shimgba, I no get……na money carry me come
your side now as I need to get some drugs…am not feeling fine at
all
Me:But u get ATM now…..make I help u go withdraw
My guy:My ATM card don expire since now……(showing me one
tattered atm card)….ever since d tyn expire, I no go collect
another one….
Me:Which kind wahala b dis…hw we want take go work
tomorrow………..
My guy: No worry, I fit com pick u with my car tomorrow now…
Me:But I need money badly now to settle some things……..so, hw
u fit help me
My guy:Except I call folake to raise me some bar..i can drive
there and get some dough then come and give u but u go pay me
my money tomorrow oooo……
Me:No problem brother…..i know u are always a helper….
My friend called his girlfriend and that one said she was at
home…..he dashed out and I wish him best of luck as I will be
expecting him in 15mins time………It was already 8:30…..the look
on Debby’s face was not it at all as she has been receiving so
many calls….she always excuse hersef whenever she want to
receive the calls…………………
Me:Baby, pls lets just wait for like 15mins…my friend will soon
be back with the money
Debby:Its getting late oooo and I will answer serious query from
my dad regarding where have been since morning…..
Me:Pls baby….u will soon get the money……………………
Debby:I just hope he will come within that 15mins
Me:I trust him so much baby……………………..
