Maria sighed in frustration, threw her phone on the bed and la!d on it. She has been calling Abby for a while but she hasnt been picking. She wasnt even replying her pings even though it showed that she was recieving them.

Even Susan too hasnt been picking her calls or even visiting her lately. She was so lonely, she didnt even have anywhere to visit. She wanted to shop for her birthday but she couldnt shop alone.

Shopping alone wasnt her style. She didnt find it fun at all.

‘i think you are correct Abby, we should stay away from Maria. Not after what we experienced at her house the other day’ Susan said.
‘Maria is possessed. I just found out recently and mingling with such a person isnt too good for us’ Abby said.
‘she has been calling since sha. I dont want to pick oo’
‘yes please. I havent even been replying her pings sef. I hate that Maria sef. I have always hated her since the first day i met her’ Abby said.
‘you hate her? Why? She is a very nice person. Besides i thought she was your friend? How come you turn out to hate her?’ Susan asked surprised by what Abby said.
‘friend ke? It was because…you know she is rich and she spends money like a fool. She thinks she is the only rich bae in school, idiot!’ Abby said with so much hatred.
‘Abby this is not fair now. Maria spends for you because you are her friend and all you could say was that she spends like a fool? Is it fair?’ Susan asked.
‘abeg, spare me that jor! Maria is too proud. She thinks she is the only girl with a rich father. She had money to spend and all i did was help her spend it very well’ Abby said remorselessly.
‘han-han Abby, i never knew you were this cruel. Someone like you can easily send one to his early grave with just the words that comes out of your mouth’ Susan said with a long hiss.

She picked her bag and stood up to leave then stopped at the door.
‘i think i know what this is all about. Henry right? Our friendship is over. Infact i were to choose between a back biter and someone who is possessed, i think i will go for the later and i will make sure i tell Maria all you just said, stupid girl!!!’ Susan said and left immediately.
‘fools!’ Abby said.

Alice stared at the heavy suitcase for a while.

Why did her dad password it. How come her dad even had such a thing.
‘i feel strange’ she complained to Angela.
‘how exactly do you feel dear?’ Angela asked.
‘i dont know, wierd. Its never happened before. I feel like….i feel like i’m going to die. I feel something sapping away my strenght….i feel…..’ Alice stammered.
‘how come? Are you sick or are you pregnant?’ Angela asked.
