Before Alice knew what was happening, she had recieved more than three slaps. Her very fair face had turned red.
One of them picked her up and placed her on his shoulder.

Stella felt uncomfortable. Tony hadnt called her since and he hadnt been picking her calls. She was disturbed. Was he playing with her?
No, Tony didnt look like the playboy type. Besides, why would he dump her now, they hadnt done anything.
Or did he run away because she said she was once married? Why wasnt things working out for her? Was she cut out for misery and sorrow? Why cant she get married and live like her other mates? She had the resources, beauty and every other thing that men would want in a woman but she was yet to settle down, was she cursed? She wept.

Nneka was mad with fury. If not Naomi was a ghost, she would have smacked the living hell out of her.
‘what do you mean by you cant stop Maria? Isnt she your daughter?’ Nneka asked in anger.
‘we are now in two separate worlds. I am dead and she is living. And i’m warning you mother, dont you dare do anything that will hurt Maria or Tony, whatever assignment you have between you and the witches of the dark should be between the both of you. Do not drag my family into it’
Naomi disappeared. The room became normal again.



Nneka began to ponder very hard. She had to think of something to do. Oh God! How can anyone have such a daughter? Stubborn when living and stubborn in death. She couldnt afford to fail her colleagues. This assignment was very important to her. She quickly did some incantations and the pot disappeared. She fell on her bed looking for clues.
She knew Tony brought a lady home last night and immediately she stepped foot into the house, her palms began to shake. That was a sign. It was she they had been looking for!
