EPILOGUE

“Prez, what are you doing here? Have you been crying?” Emperor Kan frowned as he sat beside her. Empress Li quickly wiped her tears. “Not really, I was just thinking about Skornia and my children. I miss them.” Emperor Kan held her hands. “My heartbeat, it’s okay and I understand. As a good mother this is what you are supposed to do. Should I send for them?” Empress Li smiled and shook her head. “Anie Pae’ha(No, Your Majesty). I must learn to live without them. Komasmida(thank you).” Emperor Kan nodded and pulled her closer. He didn’t like seeing her unhappy so he did his best to make her happy. “Can you see those stars my heart? That is us and our children, see even Heaven acknowledge us.” Empress Li smiled.
“Yes, that’s right. I love you My Majesty. Thank you for all that you’ve done for me and my children, thank you for loving me.” Emperor Kan looked into her eyes and smiled. “I should be the one saying thank you because you love me and you never gave up on me. You are a jewel of inestimable value and I love you too, forever and always.” He kissed her passionately while he led her back into the palace.

After many years of living and ruling together, Emperor Kan died and Empress Li who becme the Empress Dowager supported her sons especially Prince Daleh till he became very strong and so powerful. She eventually relinquished power and politics when Emperor Kan died but everyone still feared her. Her daughter, Prince Happiness then rose to be in charge of the Skornian army under the guidiance of her uncle, Grand Prince Xavier, she was given the title Grand Princess Li by her brother Emperor Likan of Skornia while the control of the Philnian army went to the daughters of Queen Lin, they were all known and feared by other nations far and near. The two sisters were known for their absolut loyalty to Prince Dalhe who later became Emperor Kanji.
They protected him till their deaths while Queen Lin also became a pillar of support for him when Empress Li died. Prince Kani too gave his immense support to both Emperors and became a high lord in both empires.
There was peace for many centuries in both Skornia and Philnia, no one dared to attack them because of their armies and unity. After Empress Li was buried, an epitaph was engraved on her tombstone, it read: Here lies the great iron empress of our time. EMPRESS PREZ LI.
And so the journey of Skornia began. Till date everyone still adored and loved Empress Li.
