Your eyes are all swollen, have you been crying?” She stood up to leave. “No, am fine thank you Your Majesty.” Emperor Kan embraced and held her back. “But you don’t look alright, tell me what’s wrong.” Empress Li turned and sighed. “Am sorry for the other day, I was wrong please forgive me. Maybe you are right afterall, I need to stay for my people and you, you have to go rule your people and you, you have to go rule your people and sire a heir to your throne. I guess this is my destiny afterall.”
Emperor Kan looked at her in pains. “Prez, I have no other woman in my heart and making Jilhe the heir here is my punishment for making it impossible for you to conceive again. I should be the one asking for your forgiveness. I love you and I am sorry I have to leave you all here but believe me only you will be my empress, after your reagency here, you can finally move over to Philnia and we will live together, me and you.” Empress Li smiled and wiped her tears. “Saranghee Pae’ha(I love you Your Majesty).” He kissed her forehead. “Nado(Me too) my heartbeat.”

Finally the day came for Empress Li and Prince Jilhe’s coronation as emperor, the people of Skornia and Philnia alike trooped into the palace to watch the coronation. Emperor Kan was to leave the following day after the coronation. “My people, today is a historical day in Skornia as Skornia will be having its first supreme emperor after centuries of opression and slavery.” Everyone shouted. “Now, we will welcome the royal family.”
Everyone bowed down with respect. The minister of rites continued his speech. “Now, we ask your majesties Empress Li and Prince Jilhe to move forward.” They both moved to the front of the palace ground and the golden crowns of the ancient Skornia were placed on their heads.
“Today, I give you Prince Jilhe as the new emperor of Skornia and our Empress Li as the reagent and Grand Empress of Skornia Empire.” The people hailed and shouted. “Hurray! Hurray! Hurray!” After the people have calmed down and were settled, Empress Li addressed them after which Jilhe now known as Emperor Likan also addressed them.
