After putting them all to sleep, she went to Young chamber, she met Emperor Kan waiting up for her. “My husband, you are not yet asleep?” He smiled. “I am waiting for my empress to come home to me.” She stepped into his embrace. “Thank you Your Majesty.” He laughed. “So, did your sister and her family settle in well?” She nodded. “Yes, thanks for everything my crown.” He grunted. “Oh! Stop saying that. You know I will do anything for you my heart.” He kissed her passionately after which they went to sleep.
The days that followed were full of planning on how to get the throne back. It was later decided that Empress Li will travel down to Young Village and prepare the armies(that of Emperor Kan and Empress Li) for battle. Xavier left first while Empress Li took her time to say goodbye to her sister and her children. She left them all in her sister’s care. Most people thought Empress Li was going for her usual every year prayer, it was only a few people that knew what was really happening. It was at this time that Queen Lan’s brother, General Krane came to stay in the palace with the sole purpose of watching Emperor Kan’s movement, an order from his father, the prime minister.
When he saw Empress Li, he asked his sister about her. “Is that the Empress?” Queen Lan hissed. “Yes, that’s the wench, I will tell father to wipe out she and her family after he takes over the throne.” General Krane laughed heartily. “Good. But I will have a taste of her first before you carry out your plan. You are sure she is harmless?”


Queen Lan laughed. “Harmless and useless.” They both laughed and moved inside. At Young chamber, Empress Li bade her husband goodbye while he felt reluctant to let her go, Empress Li begged and pacified him for a long time before he finally agreed. Emperor Kan knew he had no choice than to let her go because of everything at stake including their being together. He kissed her and released her hands while Empress Li warned him to be careful and wary of Queen Lan’s brother. After they said their goodbyes, Empress Li left for Young Village.


After Empress Li left, Emperor Kan buried himself in work and strategies of war while he appeared to everybody as calm. The mere presence of General Krane infuriated him but he decided to pretended if he was okay with it. On hearing that Empress Li was coming all the villagers began to clean and decorate the village. They were so happy she was coming. After a week she got to Young Village. The people received her with joy while the army gave her a warm reception.
After the celebrations she focused on her mission. “Reports Xavier.” Xavier bowed. “The army is on standby, Emperor Kan’s army are still begging for an alliance with us and are still begging for an alliance with us and the total number of our soldiers are now 800,000, total number of guards are 10,000, and assassins are 500 in number.” Empress Li smiled. “Good work my generals, I want about 50 female guards specially trained assassins to be my guard from now on and also appoint 5 that will be guarding His Majesty along with secret guards understood?” They all bowed.
“Esota(Excellent). Tomorrow we will pay a visit to Emperor Kan’s army, I will personally lead the envoys, send a letter of acceptance to them.” After giving each officer his/ her duties, she joined the army’s training.
