EARLY MORNING NEXT DAY…

I got up from my bed. Did my morning prayers before going over to my dad’s room.
Me: good morning dad, good morning mum.
Dad: good morning my princess.
Mum: good morning Diana, how was your night?
Me: cool mum.
I said as I went back to my room where I entered inside my bathroom. I brushed my teeth and took my bath before coming out of the bathroom.

I got to where I kept my make up kit where I took my cream, applied it allover my body. Then I brought out my uniform.
White shirt, black skirt and a black tie to match. I wore my uniform sat down, did a little make up on my face and looked at the mirror.
Me: wow, Diana! You are so pretty.
I said to myself. I wore my white socks and pair of brown sandals before going downstairs.
Mum: Diana my dear, your food is ready.
Me: ok mum.
I said as I joined them on the dining table. Our food this morning is tea, two slices of bread and alot of fried eggs.
As usuall, my dad was the first to finish his meal. He pecked me and my mum, took his suitcase and left to work.
When I was through, I took my bag and met my mum.
Me: mum I will be leaving for school right away.
Mum: wait a minute.
She said as she reached for her purse, searched inside and brought out five thousand naira notes.

Mum: take this for your lunch.
Me: thank you ma. See ya later.
I said as I left her happily. I got outside and my driver Emma was already waiting for me..
I looked everywhere to see if my dad left his red SUV car, my favourite. Unfortunately for me, he took it to work.
Me: let’s use this one instead.
I said pointing to a black BMW.
Emma: ok.
He said as we got inside. Me sitting at the back seat. He started the car and we drove off to school.

ERUDITE PRIMARY AND SECONDARY SCHOOL
Time check 8:30am
we got to school late as usuall. Well, nobody dares to talk to me. They know who my dad is.
I came out of the car and waved Emma good bye as he drove the car out of the school vicinity. I got inside the classroom and they were studying chemistry.

Me: good morning miss gift.
Miss Gift [our chemistry teacher]: good morning madam. Thank God you have arrived. We have gone far and I am not going back again. Collect the note from your friends if you care to know what you missed.
I walked to my sit. Everyone looking at me, well not like before since Tracy have over shadowed my beauty.
Speaking of Tracy, I looked around and saw her. As usuall, she was sitting alone. She kept looking at me while I quickly dodged her stare. I got to my sit and sat down.
Joy: good morning Diana.
Meet joy, my only friend in ss3. She is lucky I choosed her as my friend. She is very beautiful but not as beautiful as me. She is also very clever and her dad is stinkly rich. We were the most beautiful girls in school before Tracy came. Unlike me, Joy didn’t care. She never felt as if Tracy ever existed. Anytime I ask her if she isn’t bother at the way Tracy’s beauty surpasses ours, her reply was always “I AM HERE TO READ MY BOOK NOT FOR BEAUTY PAGENT”
Me: morning Joy.

I said as I sat down, turned around and yet, Tracy was still there looking at me.
Me: oh God, how am I going to overcome this?
