School resumed the folowin week as we all
resumed imediately too(we cudnt wait to see
friends nd classmates)….During break
periods,those of us dat traveld do Pour 2geda 2
discuss our xperiences nd dis stuf brot me close
to many oda people…it was like dis dat i got 2
knw of Collins…Unlike us shaa,Collins was
brought down to stay wit her Grandma dat time
(so i gues his own travel is in my own villa)..nd

top enemy..i cnt beat osita bt i knew who
cud,COLLINS…Whn we came to School d oda

them their side,seekin 4 Chijioke..As luck wud
hv it,i was goin bk home dat day nd folowed a
bush shortcut…Knowin wot he did 2 me
b4,Chijioke went down on his knees beggn 4
my mercy much to my disgust(one of d tinz abt

wot to do,i was weak..i jus stood there,lookd at

lucky)…The nxt day in skul,Chijioke came nd
told me dat Osita is plannin to beat me..let him
come na(Collins gat my bk)…During breaktime,i
was eating moi-moi whn Eunan came nd
informd me dat Osita nd Collins are fighting..we
rushd to d scene,nd i saw osita stab Collins in d
wrist as Collins imediately gav him a heavy
punch in d hand,makn d stick to fall..two of
them interlockd on each other nd were nw
wrestlin-fighting..Meanwhile,almost half d
school is nw watchn nd hailing Collinz to beat
osita..i got carried away though nd whn i
turned,i heard a thud,nd Ontop Osita was
Collinz,givin him heavy punches nd plungin
sand in2 his mouth until Osita startd
crying..WOWWW! So O.c (as he is called) can
cry? Hmmmm..o wu ihe kwesiri ya(he deserves
it) feeld d air as Collinz was Carried up among
Great hailing…i lookd at Collinz nd remembad
my own similar xperience…hmmm… I Now
have a Big brother after all,i said to
myself.

I have a frnd nd clasmate in Nkiru’s place/
kindred…his name is Udochukwu..Though we
wia nt best of friends,we were gud anyway…i
usualy use him as an xcuse to go there.After
cumin bk 4rm skul nd hapi dat Collinz beat
O.C,I ate nd afta eatin,i went out…i gues my
grandma wil nw be calin me Ojemba(waka
waka) in a multiplied manner..Nkiru’s house
became my second home as her
parents,younger siblings nd neighbours came
