ME: why do you even hate this your brother **i pressed on**
SUNSHINE: hate? If you happen to come in contact withthat fool, you will
even hate him more than i do. Please let get going to thedinning, dinner
will be ready any moment from now
We made our way downstairs to the dinning. Everything wasset and we sat
down to eat. I was sitting beside my mum in an angle that willenable you
see whosoever enter the dinning. A position that was usuallyoccupied by my
dad but since he was not around, i have to assume that position.My mum
discretely pated me and i understood that Mira has updated her

SUNSHINE: i have a great news for you mum **happilysmiling**

MUM: i guess he is your boyfriend?
SUNSHINE: yes mum and i love him very well
MUM: well, since it is your choice, there is no problembut remember the rules
SUNSHINE: **smiling** i will mum, thank you mum

We sat eating for sometimes before my dad entered thedinning undoing his
tie as he walked in. I knew that it was time thateverything is revealed
and also the perfect time
ME: good evening sir **i greeted as every other persondoes and Ken rushed
to give him a hug**

SUNSHINE: dad, **making a pitiful face** i want to tellyou that there is
this guy i love and….

DAD:** interrupted** who is he my sunshine?
I was like “WTF” if it was me that make such demand now,i knew that i will
be in for some slaps and scolding if not more
SUNSHINE: here is he **she said pointing at me**

My dad stared at me then her before she busted intolaughter and every
other person in the room joined excluding i and her though iwas laughing
inwardly

DAD: are you sure of what you are talking about?

SUNSHINE: i am sure dad, why do you ask?
DAD: **still laughing** i mean, do you really love him?

SUNSHINE: yes dad, i love him with all my heart
DAD: do you know why i am asking?

Every face went pale except my dad. I don’t know whathappen but all i
could remember was that i just rushed to Ken and lifted him inwarm embrace
as tears trickle down my eyes

KEN: i knew it was you, you look like dad, you tricked us**he sobbed**
ME: is okay bro, i am here for you **i replied as i wipedoff his tears**
The shock on my sisters faces with the tears that werefalling down their
eyes made me more angry. I couldn’t believe that my sistercould be that
emotional to cry after all the insult he lauded no me
ME: well, i don’t even know what i did to you that madeyou hated me so
much. I have always loved and cared for you since we were child**i said as
i walked up to her** all you care about me were all negativedespite the
fact that i have never offended you. You treated me like a cast outdespite
the fact that i am your own blood. Your hatred was so strong that youcould
not even recognise your own childhood brother
SUNSHINE: **crying** i………i am…. sorry, it wasn’tmy fault
MUM: what are you guys talking about?
DAD: what is happening here?
MIRA: could somebody please tell us what is reallyhappening here?
ME: whose fault is it that made you hate your own brother**i said as i
grabbed her shirt**
SUNSHINE: it….it **fighting for air as i tightened mygrip on the collar
of her top** it was dad

ME: what did he tell you? ** i shouted as i gave my dad ideadly look and
released her shirt**
